  1. Sometimes its crunch when im shifting. Special from 1. gear to 2. gear, but i think the crunch is because i cant get the clutch to release 100%.

    I`ve hear that i can change the clutchfluid out with atf oil (thicker oil) if there is a minor leckage.

    Do i have to take the gearbox out to fix the synchro ? Is there any howto ?

  2. symptom:

    The clutch pedal is dull and very easy to press in, but its difficult to get it in gear.

    The clutch is not slipping, its an nismoclutch that have run about 10.000km now.

    I cant find any leaking clutchfluid.

    Have tried to bleed the system, there was no air in it.

    Master or slave sylinder thats is gone ?

  3. I and the truck mechanic installed the cusco today, there was no trouble what so ever!

    I used the shimming in the original lsd on the cusco unit, fitted prefect.

    After changing lsd i broke it in. Running in 8`s for 1 hour, clutch in when im turned in and cltuch out on straights.

    Changed the diffoil after breaking it in, and have driven 150km after that..there is no clunking or scraping. The diff is really tight and predictable - i just love it! Its an new car!

  4. i have a wolf v4 on my rb25.. i want to burn it. every car i've seen with one doesn't run it properly.. takes ages to start etc... and the service from wolf? hah,.. goodluck with that

    I have wolf, it takes ages to start when the motor is hot. Coldstart is no problem.

    okey..im going to drive in a 8 figure for 30 mins.

    The part i dont understand is when to clutch down! Should i clutch down where my 8 is red, and clutch out when it gets blue ?

    ..some noises are normal, because the clutchplate rub against eachother ?

    I have an cusco rs 2way..but the manual came in japaneese, dont understand anything! Anyone know what kind of oil cusco recomends ?

  6. Yesterday i drove my gts without no problem. Parked it for the night, and when i were going to start it today it wouldnt start.

    Have removed coils and sparkplugs, just to see if they had a spark. When im turning the engine plug nr 1 and 4 have a spark - but there is no spark when im turning, the spark comes in the second i turn the key back againg and the engine stops turning.

    For a week ago the car didnt start, but i hadnt time to check it then. When i tried the next day it started without no problems...

    Any suggestion what i should do ?

  7. Got a package from japan today, an new lsd :D

    Have never changed something like this before so i need some pointers from someone that have done this before.

    Do i need to "shims" it to get the right pressure on the bearings ? Is there any "howto" on this job ?

    The manual came in japaneese, so i dont know what kind of oil that is recomended, anyone here know ?

  8. When is were going to start the engine today the tikkingsound came when i turned on the ingition, before the car started.

    So it have to be an solenoid somwhere, but i cant find it. Have searched after the sound, and felt on solenoids to find the ticking, but havent found anything.

    I think it is under the greddy intake somwhere, but it sounds like it comes from the fuelrail. I will probaly find it if i take the plenum off.

  9. I want a new diff thats locks both my wheels so i can do donuts and drift.

    I use the car on road (90%) and on track (10%).

    Have seen on the parts from nengun.com.

    Can anyone recomend a diff that covers my use ?

    is there a howto on the mechanical part of this here ?
