  1. read up on the npc twin plate thats what ive got (car is being built atm)

the flywheel is built into the clutch as one piece, they are pretty heavy also but very cheap to rebuild as its a thick piece of billet they can get skimmed and new plates put in, compared to rebuilding a jap clutch which will cost nearly as much as a new one

  2. rb26 head - reason for sale: had a oil pump failure in my old motor, had the head completely stripped down and inspected (probably didnt need to but im fussy) all is good so its bare at the moment with all the parts that came off it bagged up. ive since bought a complete motor so i sold my old block and now this is not needed. can get everything re-assembled for another $100.

comes with everything including plenum and throttle body setup, fuel rail, also exhaust manifolds. also comes with the red coil-pack and rocker covers off a R34 GTR and also clear timing belt cover. looking for $1200ono

bitsus oil catch can -just like the nismo one which costs over $500, powder coated black to look factory, suit GTR's. comes with all hoses and clamps as well as new oil drain fitting, this drains back to the sump so it never needs emptying, chasing $200ono

cusco front strut brace - cant fit under the bonnet with my RB30 under there too! chasing $100ono

pod filter adaptors- comes with used k&n filters, and brackets to secure the filters - $20ono

0432 941 343 - located in perth, willing to post at buyers expense

(pics are are just of the catch can, not the head for sale)

  3. what sized garrett is that precision comparable to, im guessing between 35r and to4z ?

im still undecided what to go for my RIPS 26/30

rob from RIPS recomends a to4z but my tuner is saying t88. im thinking the t88 will be a bit big, but both are pretty outdated. Sureley with all these new turbos out now with better designed billet wheels theres something that gonna make the same outright power but spool up quicker or spool the same but make more power. Like all these borg warner EFR turbos and new precision range look good on paper but theres not much guys running them yet that can actually compare them back to back with the garrett's.

let us know how it goes, sorry to get a bit off topic :)

  4. eternal condemnation to the cheap workshop who did a head gasket replacement on my car (from the previous previous owner apparently). now i'm starting to see oil in my coolant. coolant levels are going down. car doesn't overheat when its been driven unless the weather gets crazy hot. flushed it thrice but still seeing traces of it.

tell me what do i do with my car now. 1. engine rebuild set me back by $10k or 2. just get the head gasket done professionally $4-6k wtffffffffffff

perfect example of how GTR's can cost money, even if they're stock! to fix it properly it aint gonna be cheap

4-6k doesn't sound too unreasonable, it'll take nearly a day to pull the motor out, nearly another day to put it all back together (remembering most shops charge around 100per hour) so thats almost 2grand there, then u gotta pull the head off, machine the head, + the price for a new gasket and all the other shit in-between, and if your going to all that hassle your probably gonna put a good quality gasket in thats another few hundred, and also thats providing everything goes well and thats all thats wrong with it!

    good luck :/

  5. i was looking at pics of different diffs and to be honest it looked the most like the OS giken one, i rang otomoto and the guy i spoke to said that because it doesnt have OS or the logo stamped on it anywhere its not an OS giken diff, not sure if the guy was just being a douche though..

  6. ive got a brand new SPOOL rb34 stroker kit for an rb30 block, comes with full counterweight crankshaft, forged pistons/rods, and pins, more info see here http://www.spoolimports.com/spool-stroker-kits/spool-nissan-rb30-stroker-crank-kit
