This is my finished (exterior) wise 1990 Skyline gts-t sedan . I'm super stoked on how it came out. Couldn't decide if I wanted to clip the zipties for "crashing" a hotrod show n shine... They are cut now. The wings are one off pieces I made since I couldn't find something I could buy that was this idea took as much material money plus so much time ahha.
The first fiberglassing me and a friend did deleting the extension on the end of the sideskirt.
Relocated the powersteering pump to get out of my air filters way and relocated my oil dipstick too.
Get the exhaust as hung as I could. Two mufflers inline so its decently quite till the screamer pipe.
Manifold and dumppipe view. Bottom mount with t3 flange and 38mm tial wastegates flange welded on. Also s13 suspension all around the r32
Made a top feed rail out of a cut down rb20det fuel rail.
This is now ascending order. Back last fall.
Last spring now.
Putting the interior back in at the moment then I really need to hit up some rainy crack of dawn roads. Guess I'll do a semi decent spec list:
Engine:
ka24det internally all stock
Custom greddy style intake
cxracing bottom mount
Holset he341 t3 turbo
ebay tial knockoff 38mm
Ignition hotwire mod
fmic 3" piping
skull and bones oil cooler filter relocation
s13 koyorad e-fans
Megasquirt standalone ecu
Suspension:
s13 coilover conversion
s13 subframes / non hicas
s13 arms stock low control arms
powered by max rack spacers
ikeya formula inner tie rods s14 outer
gtr rear sway bar
Body:
BN sports knock off modded
Tail wing and roof lip
Fang grill cutout
Rolled and pulled fenders
Wheels:
AME Shallen AX
18x10.5 225/40r18
18x12 255/35r18
Misc.:
Rear battery relocation
2" fence post shifter and ebrake
Nearly floor level fixed bucket seat and I'm only 5'9" hahah
Very simple machine really. Seems like I removed more than I replaced ha.

fim using a r33 rack and lines. however the hicas ecu would control the solenoids so if you earth the solenoid out it will stay open, however that may cause the solenoid to burn out over time.
depends on your setup mate, for most r32's you'd leave the ecu in.
^^^^
How do you do this exactly? I'm not the best at electronic lingo yet. But is it as simple as jumpering two pins at the end of the connector that would have gone into my missing hicas ecu? Does anybody know the wire colors if thats the process<<<? Thanks for the help. Also sorry for bumping this old thread.

First of all. I have done tons of searching to try and figure out myself what these are for. Can't even find FSM's like I can for my 240(so easily). I pulled my RB out to do a bunch of mods to it, but I labelled everything. Put it back in. Sheered off 4 exhaust studs putting the top mount manifold on after the engine was back in the car. Tried various hardened steel easy-outs and ****, those sheered off too. Then said eff that and an now I'm swapping in a different motor(not RB). But since everything I labelled was de-labelled after the rb was put back in I don't know what a bunch of the plugs are for(I can't say my labeling would have help me much anyways). So here is my tall list of questions.
First one T's off right by the right headlight. What plugs are these for?
Next two are the same plugs, diff angles. Same area as the first pic. What are these plugs for?
Next is the harness on the left side near the headlight. IIRC it T's off from where plug for the sidemarker is.
Next three are more specific pics of the one above. What are these plugs for?
Next two are plugs at the passengers feet. Right near where the ECU was. What are these plugs for? What is the ECU looking thing for?
Also if someone knows where to get FSM's for GTS-t r32's could you post it. In english lol...I took out things like the automatic front lip and A/C so I know some of the plugs were for those...Please help.

When I was first into this car I was a big weight reduction nazi. Now I couldn't care less, but originally that was a factor. The rb was pissing me off and I was given two good complete ka24de with trannies. It's a displacement upgrade, while removing two cylinders and turbo kits are cheap. Working on the engine is so easy so much room. Since having it a slew of benefits have shown themselves. But really I just like the ka24det, it's a beast and torquey just a 10psi. I could talk about how its cheaper hp especially after parting out the rb. BUT thats not really true for me anymore because I've built it how I wanted to and plan on getting very stupid when I do a rebuild. 2.6L fully counterweighted crank is more than people sell running rb20det up here lol. But its what I want to do and I love how it already is. Wouldn't change anything. I definitely welcome the question though and feel free to ask anything about the ka as it's not what one would normally look like, plus you guys don't have them down there eh?
I have enough go pro to make a new little video soon here but here is a couple clips of it turboed
and NA last year, clutch kicks all day
Eric and Ryan are actual brothers, not me. We've been bros since high school though!
