  1. I've posted in a few other forums but am spreading the request for process confirmation nets a bIt further... I'm installing a Spec Mini-Twin into my S14 with an RB & R34 Getrag. The Spec Mini-Twin comes with a "Floating Concentric-Slave Assembly" which replaces the fork and throw out bearing. It looks pretty slick but based upon the directions I have received from Spec Clutches & Flywheels I need to make a spacer between the "Floating Concentric-Slave Assembly" and the input shaft shroud to have the proper offset of 0.100" to 0.150". Bell housing mounting face on block to clutch spoons = 2.951" Bell housing mounting face on trans to input shaft sleeve = 6.139" Concentric-slave assembly thickness = 2.272" Desired gap between clutch spoons and concentric-slave assembly 0.100" to 0.150" Spacer which needs to be made 6.139-(2.951+2.272+0.125) = 0.791 Before I make and poxy this spacer and concentric-slave assembly into the transmission I wanted to check and see if anyone else has done this to avoid screwing it up. Has anyone made one of these spacers & installed one of these clutch kits before? Here is a screen shot of the spacer I'm going to make up over the weekend...
