  2. Hey guys.

Not going to go into the story, but basically my car ('99 FD RX7) was involved in an accident and I'd say has about $5k worth of damage to the front end.

Mechanically looks almost untouched passed the radiator, but the front bar and quarter panels are all rooted. It was even able to be driven home... Though I wouldn't drive it again.

Was just wondering where people would recommend (preferably in the eastern suburbs) for someone that's going to do a good, thorough and as quick as possible job...??

  3. Wasn't originally going to come out on Sunday due to the painfully early start time - But since its my last chance, I'll make a serious effort to get there.

It was great to have a such a supportive and helpful team of people here on the forum to help me with my many enquiries. Thanks a bunch guys.

Hope theres a similar forum to help me out with my FD!

And Adam, I've sent you a msg :(

  4. So I've had my Stagea for sale for a while but was in no real hurry to get rid of it. But after the last bloke came and looked at it and I went through another round of getting my hopes up and then getting all upset about not hearing back I decided to lower the price.

Lowered it to $17.5k (which I think is an absolute steal!) and within 4 hours, the guy that had looked at it rang me back and asked if he could put a deposit on it immediately.

So I just need to replace the front brake pads and get her detailed and she's no longer mine :P

It'll be real sad to see her go, but on the upside, it means I'm either 1 step closer to owning a house or 1 step closer to owning an FD RX7, lol, I'm yet to decide means more to me.

But anyways, the end of an era is fast approaching, time to make new friends with different cars and learn all about them. haha.

  5. Okay. So after doing some searching on the net I've come to the conclusion that any GTR (R32, R33 & R34) brakes will fit and be a nice upgrade... However you need the matching calipers and rotors. Meaning you can't mix and match the Stagea stock setup with any of the GTR setups.

    Can anyone confirm this?

I can get R32 GTR calipers, rotors and lines for $700 but I want to know for a fact they're going to fit first...
