regretfull sale but cannot afford it and dont have the time anymore for it
a R32 gts-t with a rb25, Black, body is not 100% few scratches around n stuff, all 4 guards rolled/ pumped and in primer, the 2 front guards are in pretty bad nick but am in the process of hunting down some new guards for it atm, the car comes with side skirts and a front bumper (im pretty sure its vertex) all you need is a rear bumper (side skirts and front bumper not fitted atm)
the jack rails have been pushed up on both sides and crushed, however it has passed regency and they did not seem to have any issues with it. most of the engine parts are literally under 100kms old, basically had its 100,000kms service (water pump, timing belt ect). had a new rb20 gear box put in it at the end of 2007 when i first brought the car.
chasis has done 175,xxx kms, new engine has 76,xxx on it when i brought it (only done 100kms since its been in there)
The car came up to 243rwkw on 17psi.

emissions test is one thing, youll need to have en engineer hire out a test track for a day and test out the brakes etc etc.
Emissions tests are easy to get past, its the other tests that an engineer has to do that cost a lot more. Best bet is to call up a regency approved engineer and have a chat to him about it.
but if its a bigger turbo and same engine why would you have to change brakes?

No offence but that is quite wrong,
Changing boost and ecu's WILL change emissions from the car. If you can prove that they don't (get an engineers report with an emissions test and appropriate gear to change emissions so they're equal or less than manufacturers specifications) then regency will not pick on you for that at all. This usually involves getting a very conservative tune and fitment of 2 catalytic converters so it can get costly.
so you could get a bigger turbo and fit a few catalyic converters and presuming it met emissions it would be legal?

My 26 conversion had to have a full inspection, any chance in engine type should have to be inspected. If your just swapping an RB20 for another RB20 then you would probably just need to tell them. Things may have changed since my car went through though.
i put rb25 in r32 and i just had to fill out a form sayin the engine details about it so i guess it dosent need to go through, hope i dont get a call saying i have to go through lol

It will also need a full regency inspection for the engine conversion.
i thought you dont need to go to regency for engine conversions, all you needa do is tell transport SA or whatever its called these days? correct me if im wrong

the same thing happend to me a while ago except it was a mobile mechanic that got the speeding fine, i went to the cop shop and explained to them what happend and the cop told me not to worry that he would sort it out and it all sorted out amazingly, never had to go to court or heard from the mechanic the police sorted it all. go to the cop shop and talk too them, they are quite helpfull.

One does not need their licence to be on them, provided it is paid and up to date. Generally you have 7 days to present a licence to a police station if you dont have it on you,.... which is more than fair...
Cant see them fining you for this, as there are guidelines on how to deal with licence breaches... wanna tell us what they really got you for?

yeah he could be on p's though. its something like 2 or 3 demerit points and fine for not carryin ya licence when your on p's

chasing a set of bigger injectors to suit a rb25, something reasonably priced and will swap stock injectors + cash or whatever. let me know what ya got! cheers

What are regency like with having subs in your boot etc? Mine is firmly fitted to a wooden sub box that sits under the rear seat and is all bolted in. It is fairly easy to remove however. What are peoples experiences with going through regency with things like this? yey or ney?
i went through ages ago with a sub in my old car, it wasnt secured and they didnt care about it, just make a effort to make it secure and make sure the amps secure with no cables dangling around and you should be alright

any performance mechanic should be able to do it, pitlane did my mates and it was $200ish for it to be done, the shims themselfs are around 10bux each and you can get different sizes to make it tighter

hey hey, does anybody know how to flush coolant from a rb25 engine block? the radiators removed and i have all the AC removed so i cant turn the heater on, and not sure on other ways to do it, cheers

Cefiro/S13 coilovers, 4 stud rims prefer 17x8/9 or similar. Also after heat shields for manifold and turbo RB20.

i got rb20 heat shield, well the cover and the bracket, maybe missing a few bolts shoulda said when you brought the water lines. ill give it to ya for 15bux too if you want it

hey all, got a JJR split dump pipe for sale, brand new never been used, bit dirty from dirty hands n few tiny scratches not even noticable though. cannot use it due to not fitting with bigger turbo. chasing $150 for it. also a rb20/25 stock exhaust manifold for sale. $25
