problem sorted. Came out from the gearset, possibly reverse..

the spring is there, this one is same diameter and stiffer...

Hey Guys, while changing the bellhousing on my rb20 gearbox a springs fell out, from what i can gather it was not secured in. the spring is about 20mm long and 5-7mm wide, and very stiff. i think it came from the rear of the gearbox (shifter end). the shifter was out of the gearbox.but the plate was still there, i have checked the spring under the plate and it is there, this spring is same diameter but stiffer. could someone please explain it on the pictures. cheers
