5 - 6 speed auto perhaps. This was a 4 speed auto
-
Stock R34 GT-T's are slow as shit. XR6 would win hands down.
BTW, great thread. Will read again.
No, theyre not slow as shit. R34 won in the end 5 speed manual killed the 4 speed auto. Wasnt even close
-
ah but dodging / ploughing through children will just serve to slow me down=/
-
Lol, yea turbo would probs destroy , Will attempt tomorrow Guy at tafe seems to think that because his is 4l and mine is 2.5 , that its gonna kill me, doesnt realise turbo increase power by like 50%. ahh well.
-
who do i think would win? i would assume the r34... better traction i imagine
-
Who would win between a 2001 r34 manual stock standard gt-t vs a ford xr6 ute.. 4l straight 6, 4 speed automatic from a standing start?
-
It's not the water itself, but the salt that causes shorts. Even though the water is gone, there would still be some leftover gunk which can cause problems later down the track.
went and bought 2 more for a cool 80$ =/

All good now. Hair dryered the FOB, thank christ it worked.
Close thread thanks
-
cant really take it anywhere.
-
so its actually got a siren wired up? haha - reason i ask is alot of people dont get them installed.
but yeah try open up the keypad and spray the crap out of it with CO contact cleaner (by CRC) and cross ur fingers. and if u dont have the little booklet with the number on it i'd be ringing up 'alshley electrical' in malaga. alarms and immobilizers is pretty much all they do so they can probly get u out of the stink.
if u need a new immobilizer/alarm installed pm me, ill do it cheaper then any1 else - quality work not dodgy shit either
Yea siren is wired up. Set it off like 5 times ...no one even comes over to look :|
-
lol, you blew your two chances :S
what alarm system is it. If its someone that is experienced, you can work out what wires are what with a multimeter and remove the alarm.
Its an auto watch alarm, unsure as to model but it has a turbo timer built it, and is only around 7 months old

So, today i thought it would be fun to go for a swim...with my keys in my pocket. A few weeks ago , i decided it would be fun to get my other set wet in the rain. Now both keys are f**ked....Cant find the box for it ,
Anyone have anny ideas on how to disable..remove..fix my keys?
Cheers

i dont know nearly enough about cars/ where to get parts needed to be able to do that
-
anyone got any prices then so i can compare?
-
what exactly are you looking to get done? timing belt kit? (pulleys/tensioners etc) or just the timing belt on its own, waterpump, oil's, spark plugs?
not 100% sure, i think x-speed do to much, definitly needs timing belt done, water pump doesnt really need to be done i dont think, i know x-speed do crank seals ect whichi i'd rather wait till they fail toreplace
-
Anyone know where the best place is to go? i live south of gthe river and x-speed qouted me 1300 which i think is a bit much.
Cheers
R34 gtt btw
-
i don't think the idea was to change the perspective on us...just to help out other people for the sake of it.
-
ah. perhaps not then, is more than i want to spend
-
no one answered me about the map sensors but
-
yeah i thought it was cheap. definitly getting it, just wondering now what ecu to go with it. Nistune sounds good...i also want map sensors so i can get rid of the afm, it already failed once:|
-
its manual and stock standard for now, i'd like to do a few more mods but am not going to go to far. I'd probably get boost controller and fmic next on the list.
Which is the ecu that comes with map sensors?
-
i thought it was a cheaper option. i dont know all that much to be honest
-
no one? how about just having a safc installed and tuned ?
-
Hey, just wanting a basic idea on how much an exhaust + ecu would cost? Was quoted 900 for a turboback xforce system from x-speed, was thinking of getting the SAFC and a tune aswell. R34 gt-t stock standard.
