    Cash Job Any1?

    so i blew a head gasket.. :( due to a core plug.

    the heads getting machine now.

    bought a new top seal kit

    got everything needed for the job.

    my mate WAS gonna put it all together for me but hes been called into work 2 weeks early (fifo)

    so i was wondering if any1 is interested in a cash job putting it all together for me?

    Machine Gun Sounding Problem

    hey everyone.. so recently my r33 s2 gts-t has started to make some popping/banging type sounds when i boot it a bit (high revs)

    it sort of sounds like a ak47 or something and i get no power until it stops.

    in my old skyline years ago i had the same problem, and a spark plug change fixed it.. so i put a new set of plugs in this 33 but it hasnt fixed the problem..

    just wondering what else could be causing this problem?

    also the other day when i tried to quickly jump into traffic after waiting FOREVER (somewhat achieved a "peel out") the car hit limiter and instead of wheels spinning, the car made no power until i completely backed off ... any ideas?

    Clutch Changed - Noisy Gearbox

    haha funnily enough im having this exact same issue, clutch changed, and now when say stopping at lights but before i stop n put into first, lights go green, so stay in second and keep going, i get a grinding noise from the gearbox region, same if i stay in second and go around a round about or something..

    strange :S

    hey guys, just after a bit of info on wich route to go down :)

    i picked up a r33 s2 gts-t about a month ago and im so happy i ditched the vy clubby and got this!

    however i want moooore haha, (as we all do).

    currently the car has as follows -

    • 3" TRUST cat-back exhaust
    • Just Jap Racing split dump/front pipe
    • Just Jap Racing high-flow catalytic converter
    • 17" Enkei RP-01 (8.0" front, 9.0" back) lightweight racing wheels
    • Manual boost controller (Set to ~10psi)
    • Steel Mesh Pod Filter
    • 600x300x75mm Bar & Plate Aluminium Front Mount Intercooler
    • KYB SR Special Coilover Shocks
    • APEXI Super AFC (Air Fuel Controller) Neo Piggyback ECU
      Dyno tuned to 190rw/kW by Hyperdrive Malaga
    • On the Autoworx dyno at a Skylines Australia dyno day it made 240 rw/hp
    • Front & rear strut braces
    • Dark Window Tint
    • HICAS Lock Bar

    (although i have upped the boost to 12psi) and i have bought a apexi avc-r and hoping to get it installed shortly.

    I am after opinions on where i should go from here.

    highflow turbo? or pickup a garret? ive read some good things about the gtx3071r?

    for either of those setups (or something else you guys recomend), what other equip would i need, and what sort of pricing would i be looking at?

    i understand a highflow goes for around $800 and the gtx for about 1.5k?

    any input and thoughts much appreciated.

    Power Steering.

    hey guys, so i havent used my skyline much over the last few weeks as i got a new hsv.

    i went to move the car in my drive way and the steering felt shaky.. so i checked the power steering fluid.. theres heaps in there, but its all bubbly/frothy?

    any ideas?

    also, took it for a lap (before the check), and the turbo spools up.. but doesnt give me any power.. i hear this REALLY loud wooshing noise.. like the boost is being evacuated or something..

    any ideas?

    edit - all hoses are on tight, and i couldnt c any bubbles when i sprayed it with wd40 and ran the car..

    In Need Of Some Help

    hey guys, so im borrowing some springs and rims to go over the pits right.

    rims are easy enough.

    and my friend originally said he would fit the springs for me, but now he has flown to bris due to a family emergency, and im due to go over the pits on tues..with the sticker ending on weds..

    is any1 free sunday or monday to fit the springs for me?

    ill be the lacky (help with what i can)

    and i would gladly pay a fee for your help!
