Liquid density changes as it gets warmer, suppose the 20°C difference isn't going to make a huge difference however more data would provide for accurate fueling so it doesn't hurt to have (plus I just copy paste the same table into all other tunes I do).

The change is probably small enough to have no impact ( the tuner tutorials I follow never mention that). However the temperature mais have a greater impact on the atomisation of the fuel than the change of density.

But my main though is that more fuel may be needed at startup than regular gazoline. Thus do you have a kind of compensation table for the fuel post start offset relying on the fuel composition ?

  2. I've been through this a year or two : bushing of front lower arm is different between R33 and R34. Outer Diameter of the bushing is not the same (the R34 is larger). And there is no replacement part for the R34 bushing : you have to change the complete arm (what a bad idea).

Or you can put the R33/Nismo lower arm: the cheapest and best option as you will be able to have adjustable front arms and you can change the bushing latter if needed.

  3. Hey guys,

I'm working on a little project involving a crank trigger for RB26 with a good resolution.
I'm using a modeled crank pulley (found it on this forum !) but I'm not sure about the measure in the picture as I don't have a spare pulley (don't pay attention to the notches on the pulley it's irrelevant to my project).
Could someone with an R33 or R34 GTR crank pulley confirm the measure of 9mm in the picture ? That would be very helpfull.

  4. I'm in the same position !

I fitted a Black Nismo gauge cluster (320km/h) and I'd like to adjust the odometer to the same mileage than my old gauge cluster.

    Picture of it :

Is there a way to do that ?

    Hello there,

I'm in the process of fitting a new Nismo speedo (300km/h) to my Skyline.

I need to adjust the odometer though (shows double my actual mileage)

    Any hints on this?

(I would try to remove one end of the 'gearing shaft' that sits above the odo drum, and then set the real mileage ...)

    Thanks ...

    Andrew

    (And happy Easter)

  5. on the R33 GTR, your o2 sensors should have 3 wires.

The one with 2 wires has been changed obviously to another type of sensor.

Front and rear are the same but with different connectors thus the different part numbers.

This link should help you : http://wardiz.over-blog.com/article-34295259.html

I just had a look at mine this arvo quickly, been told the front one is playing up, but what did the stock RB26DETT come out with for R33? mine has o2 sensor at the rear with 3 wires, front one has only 2 wires coming from it?

which one has been changed previously? im guessing the one with 3 wires (i.e rear) has been replaced at some stage.

Now if going to buy one, are the front and rear ones the same on R33 gtr? or different part numbers?

  6. Hi guys,

quick report to let you know that the last week end I replaced one of the genuine o2 sensor (the dead one) with the universal bosch sensor (ref 0 258 005 726). Fitted perfectly. And it's easy to connect with the universal connector (provided with the universal sensor). I went to a mecanic to control and to check car emissions and they are perfect !!

Conclusion : o2 sensor bosch ref 0 258 005 726 can be used as a replacement part for O2 sensor for R33 GTR and R34 GTR.

    Hope this help.

    Hi,

    What a post !

I read all the 18 pages and it took me a couple a hours but that was very interesting.

I have to replace my O2 sensors on r34 gtr. Replacing O2 sensors on R33 and R34 gtr hasn't been discussed a lot however.

My sensors are Bosch (ref starts with A24-A21 140 ...) . I spent several hours on bosch sites and I finally managed to find a matching sensor.

The ref is 0 258 005 726. It comes with a kind of universal plug as well.

This is a universal O2 sensor and is suitable to replace parts 22690-24U00, 22690-24U01, 22690-24U02, 22690-24U03 according to this document : bosch catalogue

It's clear that R32 GTR and R33/34 GTR don't have compatible O2 sensor and the universal sensor quoted above is not suitable for the R32 GTR according to Bosch catalogue.

has anyone here tried this universal sensor ?

  7. one of them?

is there 2? where is the other located?

could i use a multimeter to check this?

There are 2 O2 sensors on RB26DETT engine. But I don't know is the same applies to RB25DETT engines. I wuold say no but I could be wrong.
