There are cheaper kits out there:

The best way to lock HICAS is to get rid of it altogether!

Really? They were posting on facebook on the 16th of December about customer cars etc. Damn, I wanted them to do the VCT mod to my ECU. I might just buy the programmer and do it myself.
-
So do the oil, filters and check the brakes and other stuff yourself. Then go somewhere (a tuner) with a dyno and check the base timing, boost levels etc. Would be much cheaper if you have the time.
I'm from interstate and haven't needed a tuner yet. I was told to go to EFI Performance http://www.efiperformance.com.au. Other then EFI, Yatala Headworx http://www.mechanicalrepairsbeenleigh.communityguide.com.au/ is near my work. So I'd consider them also.

I sell them cheaper than that link too.
I posted it because it's local.

have a few 2nd hand GTR pumps for like $50 and 3 months warranty if you really want a used pump. You'll probably be replacing it again in 12 month though!
-
Anything 2nd hand will be 17 years or older. Fuel pumps are basically consumable dude.
The best thing to do is directly wire a new pump off the battery with a relay. There are heaps of tutorials on how to do this. Pretty much just need solder and heat-shrink.

wouldn't you just drop in something like this?
Mine's whisper quiet.

I suggest getting the United Petroleum app
https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/united-petroleum/id559751029?mt=8
It allows you to check locations and prices.
I use it all the time, rotating a few jerry cans will allow you to ride out any weeks when the price are high
Not sure if they have a android equivalent
-
is it different to the RB25DET? Does it have A/C?
-
You say you want it, but you really don't.
they crack and discolour so bloody fast
-
No way around the massive cost if you're doing it properly:
-
Do you have:
carbon canister
Rear seat? I'm after the back rest if the trim matches and isn't faded (well as faded as mine currently is)
-
I have an external switch http://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/sum-830452-1/overview/
With VCT on it's really lean and actually worse. so I set it out of range (9800 to 9900) for now.
-
I currently am running 100% E85. But I'm thinking it would be more convenient to go flex in the near future. The United Race Blend E85 is another curveball (which will depend on price and them not running out all the time).
My car has been tuned without VCT. So the first thing I need is a tuner to tweak the tune with VCT on and then I can set the window switch at the optimal cross over. It's so doughy down low as you can imagine.
To compound matters my exhaust manifold is slightly cracked. So I’ll probably get a 6boost (high mount) so new pipe work and maybe turbo? Waste gate? The list goes on and never stops

Hi Guys,
I recently moved from SA and I need to find a tuner that is trustworthy and in particular; knowledgeable with Nistune (RB20 ECU running a RB25DET, EPROM program/new features etc.) E85 etc.
I live in Springfield and work near Beenleigh. Willing to travel to get the best result.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Guys,
I'm after the 2 large bolts that hold the rear strut brace in a R33 Coupe.
I've misplaced mine, and no doubt I'll find them once they are replaced lol.
-
-
I'd probably be interested in the exhaust side:
6 boost high mount,
44mm tial wastegate with 1 bar spring ( have 2 extra springs to change gate boost)
3.5 inch full turbo back exhaust ( wastegate plumbed in) with a 5 inch venom cat and hks super dragger cat back
and maybe the Garrett gt3082 with 0.82 rear too.
pending price/condition/willing to separate
Do you have a picture?
-
Everything is above 100mm (when checked on level ground)space between guards and tyres is not an issue, as long as the lowest point of your car (including the exhaust just near the diff) is above 100mm
What parts of the car need to be mod plated?
I have no idea what needs mod plating (because I'm not familiar with your regulations)
My list of mod are:
Secured Apexi pod (not in a box)
z32 AFM
hard suction kit
T04 Turbo
Stainless ext. manifold
Turbo back ext. with hi flow cat etc. Not loud
Manual boost controller (22psi)
FMIC (metal was cut to accommodate the piping to the throttle body)
After market BOV that is 100% recirculating
Q45 Throttle body
Freddy forward facing intake manifold
1000cc injectors
Top feed fuel rail
Turbo smart FPR
Walbro pump
RB20DET ECU with nistune, running E85
permanent wideband lambda, boost, temp gauges to DLP-I08 and Consult
I think that's about it

Hi Everyone,
I'm relocating from SA to Springfield Lakes. Can you help me with a suggestion of where I should go for a RWC and mod plate?
In another thread I was told my car looked low and that the cops would pull me up straight away. I believe my car is standard height and it's the illusion of the kit that give it the appearance of being low. Here are the photos I took for the transport company
I can get 2 fingers in between the tires and guard front and rear. Is it too low?
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers.

Hi Guys,
Sorry to hijack the thread but this is kinda related (on account that I'm shitting myself!)
I'm relocating from SA to Springfield Lakes. Can you help me with a suggestion of where I should go for a RWC and mod plate?
Or as another possibility, should I transfer the car into a parents name and leave it SA rego for a bit until the dust settles?
Thanks in advance
