  1. the car now belongs to aami and will probably be sold at auction. the motor was very strong when i had it, but i have nfi what the car has been through in the past 2 weeks.

would be an ideal base for a track/drift car, i'd really like to see that happen to it, poor car deserves something cool happening to it.

FWIW, the VIN and compliance plates etc have all been taken, so the car will be unfit for rego ever again, and i have no doubts that the thieves have stolen another car and are going to rebirth it with my numbers in another state.

    be weary of:

    greddy front mount intercooler

    5zigen turboback exhaust system

starcorp 18" spoked wheels, brand new federal 595 tyres

    gts-t 5 speed manual gearbox

    gts25t turbo

    clarion/addzest minidisk headunit

    autometer pro-comp oil pressure/water temp/boost guages

    maroon bonnet/doors/guards/rear pods/headlights/seats

    jaycar response 2x150 amp

    japcar response 6.5" splits

  3. hey all

im over being angry now, c'est la vie... to tell you the truth, it's been 12 hours now, i'm not sure if i want it back

two things i do want back are my autometer guages and hard-to-find clarion minidisk headunit. keep an eye out, but if do get the car back, it will be for sale very cheap... having had a previous car stolen, i don't think i'll be able to drive it comfortably again.

    thanks all again

    matt.

  4. Guess who won't be looking "pro" then...

    the bottom of my headunit?

relax buddy, they are illegal in australia, but they are not illegal in sweden, where the laws are way more stringent and geared towards safety, i couldn't even have a custom made exhaust manifold for my old volvo 240 because there were worried that without it being properly made it could be a safety risk...

then again, over there in the middle of winter, hot oil going everywhere doesn't sound like such a bad thing.

    regardless, it's my car.
