Hey fellas, new to the forum, looks like a good place.
Having problems with my 1989 Ford Lazer. It's fairly old and i use it as a bunky work car cos it's cheeep. It's carby and 1.6l.
After driving it to work yesterday i noticed when i came to a stop at corners ect my revs would almost drop off, and the car threatened to stall. As i got home it basically turned off every time i came to a stop and idled, so id have to start my car again at intersections and keep it revving. When driving through the gears though its completely fine.
I parked it and turned it back on, after cranking and starting up it dies if i dont give it revs. Anyone have any ideas. Oh it has a broken exhaust, cracked after the muffler, right through.
Much appreciated.
Ben
