  1. Well looking for a new 'fun' car and R34 is on the list.

I hear a lot of rice this, rice that, but whatever....I like them, always have and with the right mods (internal and body) they look amazing.

So my current picks are...classic STI, Bug STI, or a R34.

I wanna hear why I should NOT get one, coz more than likely I will.

Plan was to buy a R34 GTR but will spend my money on a LONG holiday and buy a GTT instead.

Looking at some with a nice, simple bodykit, exhaust, low km's (clocks wound back much?), good paint, and clean...in general.

Will be driving it to work, weekends, etc..

Tell me why i shouldn't buy one?

  2. f**k dudes....way to try and change a brother's mind!

Please...NO MORE "Go the GTR" posts...I can't handle it! lol

If I DO find a nice clean one...I'll go for it....I don't like my chances though

    f**k it...

if ANYONE HERE has a clean GTR, thats HONESTLY clean and trouble free...CONTACT ME ASAP, Im looking to buy within a week

    I'm DEAD SERIOUS

gotta be in Melbourne though, as much as I love travel, just don't have the time right now.

  3. Hey dudes... time has come to get a Skyline, as I don't plan to drive the STi's around all that much (modding one for track work, etc..other to keep stock). Now...the dillema I have is this: I have two options/opportunities at the moment.

One is for a R32 GTR in very nice condition with quite a few mods and lots of power. Other is a R34 GT-T, great condition, almost stock, standard power. While I like the look of the R32 better, and the fact that driving one feels like youre driving an overpowered go-kart, i cant go past the fact that the EXACT history of a 20 year old car can be very hazy, and for all i know car could be on its way out a week after I drive it. The R34 on the other hand is newer, interior (this is a big, BIG thing for me) is newer, usually cleaner, the car still looks good...but obviously without external enhancements (front lip, spoiler, etc..) and more power it will look like every other Skyline on the road. Being that they're priced roughly the same....bite the bullet and get the R32 GTR becouse...well...its a GTR and a much better car, or get the R34, something newer, more reliable, etc...? Please note, I am only weighing up these options as they're very similar in the price range. Car will be driven to and from work, to shops, etc... I am not looking for a state of the art GTR for $35,000. Both will be cheap, every day cars ( maybe minus all the repairs for the GTR :) )

  5. SO here I am again, trying to decide what to buy for $15,000 this time.

I was thinking R34, manual, turbo as they are newer and just feel 'sturdier' than a R32 (no R33's thanks).

Look on carsales...hardly anything..and same with these forums.

I thought they were cheaper than that?

    I guess I thought wrong :D

I could get a R32 GTR, but to find one in GREAT condition that hasn't been as pounded as Heather Hunter would be pretty hard.

    R32 GTR...or R34??

R34 in white or black...hottt, especially with a 'mild' body kit.

    someone help!
