  4. Thankz everyone for thier inputs!

Im still thinking which one to go for atm...But I got a smile on my face when i drive my stag every morning!

i like the new elgrand, it looks hot but then not sure if i gona pay extra for a bigger car..since bigger = harder to park..

Craig, the Delica is a good car...since it share alot of parts with the pajero means u will never have problems with parts either factory or after market..

but the problem with this car is they are too tall, they are like 2.2 meter up, and ur wife will find alot of problems trying to get into parking either under ground or at shoping centre,

my friend have one before he used to complaint to me all the time....

  5. Nick,

Thankz for the pics sure it will saved me sometimes to dig out the older pics...

    Stephen,

er...yea....I change my mind quite a bit....but its not comfrimed yet...

still thinking should i replace the stagea for elgrand or not at the moment as i love my axis so much and i have already spend some decent money it...

power wise...Im still happy with the power..but then the more the better!!! hahahah

No worries, as if I really bough the new car, U can take a rest in my elgrand for sure after runs!!! lol

  6. Drove pass Parramatta road today and I got my eye on a new shape Elgrand AUTECH RIDER in white.

Everything is not comfrimed yet but high chance I should be buying it...

    anyway details of my car...

2003 M35 AXIS AUTECH in Peral White ( hard to get in oz )

recently just did a major service with all new plugs and fan belts..

new RDA slotted disc and EBD pads allround.

new JDM aftermarket hatch lip spoiler

    new JDM floor mat....

I was going to built it as a VIP wagon until I think Elgrand is a better VIP build up car that i needed...

    89kms.

I think a few of the members here already seen my car in the stagea meets ...

anyway, please make me an offer as I need to workout a change over price to show my wife!

    cheers,

    David

  7. UPDATE on mine.....

I went to my mates workshop..

he just updated his OBDII scan tools with newer car...

and i got him to reset the ecu ...

now my car idle like a dream at 650 spot on as it was ideling at 750-950 before...

i expect i should save a bit more fuel now!!

    Real Happy today!!!

p.s. Andy. do u want his details maybe worth go and see him? he is located near Arncliff...

  8. Hi Andy,

Im having the same problems too.... not sure if we should call it a problem,

after aI have put new plugs and cleaned the TB, my idle has been raised to 900-1000rpm no matter how many times i reset the 3 options,

it only idle at 650 spot on when Im in D with the brakes on ( waiting at the nights )

I think maybe we should have a small meetup so we can see the others or try to do everything again together!

as I always belive more people have more brain and more idea...

    David

  9. I just come up with some idea not sure if it gona work...

As everyone is talking about high flowing the turbo and our car been tunned stuipdly rich from the factory,

what if we just install a high flowed turbo means the car will run alot leaner...

will it balanced it out? or there will be more to consider?

have anyone dynoed ( for A/F reading ) thier car just with a high flowed turbo on?

Im keen to see if it works or not...

  10. Would this be suitable for an ARX?

    19x9.5 +16 and 19x10.5 +12??

What tyre sizes would be suitable?

I dont like low profile that much, is it more expensive?

I think those wheel will sticking out heaps from the guard,

Im runing 18x9 25+ and its already very close to the edge of the flare!

  11. Hi Guy's,

    couple of things:

1/ Not sure about spending $2K for a standard BB high flow unit even if it does just bolt straight back up. But that's just me. Also good work to Stephen for finding this alternative.

2/ Andy sorry to correct...standard turbo rebuild is about $650, High flow with bush's is about $1,250 and High flow with Garrett BB + other parts approx $2K.

3/ As Andy also said I have a problem with bottom end power. I have a dump pipe on the way from Japan(should be here early next week). As soon as I get it on I will post results....fingers crossed.

4/ Also I will hopefully will be doing the ECU around the end of July beginning of August(need tax return). I will post up all dyno results from the standard tune....will also share the final results.

5/ Last but not least... interesting what GCG are saying about our standard boost....my standard was going to 16PSI and bleeding back to 12psi....probably why it shit itself.

If standard Turbo rebuild is about $ 650, is that mean rebuilding our standard turbo with all new parts included bearing for that price?

Who is doing the rebuld? GCG?

because $ 650 is a good price when Im happy with the torque and power that I got at the moment...

Since Im thinking it will be a very good option for someone who is happy with the standard power but want to give a new life to the car?
