This is quite bizarre: 4 months, 1494 views and not one person on this forum had any use for these parts.

One week on eBay and everything is sold, most in two days!

    I wonder...

  2. Who could help to find out if this square setup would fit a v36 sedan?

These tyres are track used and only for demonstration purposes to show you how a square setup looks and feels. You will need new tyres for the street so you don't have to go square.

I am not charging anything for the tyres, so just discard them when you are done with them.

They would suit someone who wants these wheels for track use and wishes to try the sure setup a couple of times on the track before choosing new tyres.

  6. Rules are pretty simple dude...

    http://www.skylinesa...ead-before-use/

Any users that choose to ignore the rules as below will either have their posts or threads removed/edited, or may receive a warning

    1. When starting a new thread, you must include a set price, or at the very least a ballpark figure that you are looking for. EOI's are not permitted, if you want to auction your gear then use e-bay

In other words if you dont want stupid offers play by the rules...

    Thank you for the lecture.

  7. I have the following stock R35 parts for sale:

    1. 4 x OEM wheels, non-Premium gun metallic, as new, ideal second set for track use

    2. Wheels are fitted with 4 x OEM 285/35/20 Bridgestone RFT tyres, used on the track. Try them before replacing to check if you like the SQUARE set up for handling.

    3. OEM front Brake Discs, hardly used and deglazed, practically NEW, never put back on the car. Ideal for the ORIGINAL look at a fraction of NEW Nissan prices.

    4. Brand New, in the box REXPEED Carbon Fibre M-Style front spoiler -sold the car as the spoiler arrived!

    Local pick-up Sydney.

No reasonable offer refused - you all know what these parts cost new, so PM me and you will get a bargain!

  8. software only

4000rpm launch is right at the limit of what the stock tyres + stock power can translate to forward momentum

if your car is mod'd, id opt for a lower launch rpm

When I asked Mizuno-san, face to face, at Philip Island 2011 GT-R launch, if Nissan would honour its much publicised promise to offer upgrades to 2009/2010 cars to 2011spec LC4 ,

his answer was: "not possible, veeery sorry, different internals"

    So there.down.gif

  9. I can smell fuel near the right rear tire after a drive when the car is parked, I know it's close to the fuel cap, surprisingly there is no petrol smell near the cap, it's more from the tire section of the car. is this normal?

    Thanks

    Normal? No, Common? Yes.

It is the charcoal canister overflowing and spewing out the smell of fuel it was meant to trap. Stupid environmental regulations which demand you trap the smells coming from the fuel tank whilst you are outdoors, only to release them back into the atmosphere in the privacy of your own garage.down.gif

I have it too. I previously had the same issue in a Mercedes E55 AMG and they replaced the canister twice, the fuel lines and the fuel tank at $000's and still didn't fix it.

I am not holding my breath and expecting Nissan to be as generous (reckless) with their Factory Warranty budget...

  10. *cough* it's actually vinyl

the seats, dash, doors, a-pillar trim is all vinyl with a foam backing

the only leather part of the seats is the perforated insert that follows the seat edging

Only partly true: the seat and back rest bolsters I was complaining about are leather, in my case, delaminating cheap leather.

Its all fixed now, thanks to the GT-R dealership who went out of their way to please a valued customer!thumbsup.gif

  11. Only an EOI at this stage as I have my eyes on a set of wheels but have not decided yet. These have been powdercoated satin black and are in perfect UNMARKED condition. Made by RAYS, they are a forged wheel so very light for 20s.

    20x9.5 +45, 20x10.5 +25

Tyres are 245/35/20 Kumho KU31 and 275/30/20 Bridgestone Potenza 050

Those familiar with these wheels will know how hard they are to get a hold off and as far as I know this is the first set in WA (maybe even aus) that's not on an R35

    v35b-1.jpg

I'm after $6500 for the set. Only contact if serious, do not bother lowballing.

These R35 wheels , with OEM Brdgestone tyres and TPMS can be bought in the US for little over $2000 plus shipping, every day of the week. Good luck!down.gif
