is it a series 1 engine? does the loom bolt directly into the r32 body? Will the garrett bolt onto the standard manifold? What power could i expect?
-Series 1 Engine
- Doubt the loom would be bolt in, its been a while since ive looked at it but there would be some wiring involved. Runs S2 Coilpacks and wired for both GTR ecu and RB25 one
- HKS gt2540 is direct bolt up to RB20 or 25 engines. Should expect a responsive 240-250kw around 3300rpm.. very nice turbo for drivability

just to clarify things... ALL POWER FC's have the ability to do launch control. a data loggit is required for all circumstances for it though..
only difference with PRO versions are the ign cut.

Just had a pretty major service:
New extreme heavy duty clutch
New castrol oil, oil filter

Overall it's in pretty good condition, 1 headlight is a little bit cracked but doesn't effect performance and the paint on the bonnet isnt great/ needs work.
Very legal example, runs stock boost and side mount Intercooler.

Are u sure the f2 button isnt stuck on causing the logging to stop?
thats what i was thinking at 1st
but turned out it was a broken serial- usb cable i was using.
updated the fc edit software to latest version and recognised the problem as "interface not responding"

just went to use fc edit today and it wont log at all..
yesterday it worked fine.
it gets correct delta an1-an2 readings in the monitor screen from wideband (3v, approx 14 a/f)
( all "datalogit" boxes in monitor screen are ticked)
checked the lm programmer and fc edit auxiliary settings were at 0-5v 9-16 a/f
delta an5-an6 wont un tick for some reason
if i hold down F1 on the monitor screen i can get a constant reading of values but starting a log only takes the momentary value.
will not put any values in to map watch.
any1 have an idea on whats gone wrong?

When I say lean out I don't have the wideband set up on this car but left like a fuel cut, which it turned out to be.
The . The next gear thing feels similar, massive stutter, no black smoke or popping, engine just feels dead.
I'll check the coolant temp sensor, that sounds plausible :-)

Fixed the knock sensors. That solved the timing and lean out under load.
It still has a massive hesitation at the start of every gear though, once it works through it it's fine though.
Any ideas?

ok.. have an r32, rb25.
just removed microtech and replaced with standard ecu.
Problem:
dies under load, dies around 3 k depending on load. (it free revs fine)
dies when u take the next gear up.
*by saying it dies i mean it leans out so bad it doesnt run.
What i had already tried/found out.
-replaced fuel pump with a working walbro fuel pump (wired earth and power straight to battery with no difference)
-CAS timing needs to be set to full advance to get 15deg
-tried 3 different rb20/rb25 green AFM's
- converted wiring loom to run r33 s2 coil packs. runs on 6 cly fine.
- fuel is prob a bit old, but ran fine before ecu swap.
-knock sensors are not plugged in ( wired 1 to both pins quickly as it was easy to get to buy dont think it made much difference)
really dont know what to look at from here..

plugs are different and wires are around a different way. easy job to re wire if u have a s2 coil pack loom or are able to make one

Use the votage curve table to calibrate the afm curve. I will see if i still have any of the old tunes that i can post the voltages from. I generally dont keep the old ones on the laptop anymore as its getting to crowded in the map folders.
It will only take 20mins to write a new curve with on the dyno so it not a real issue, or is it being home tuned? road tuning the curve can be painful.
yeah the intentions were to road tune it. havent touched it in a couple weeks though. so far ive just tuned the air flow curve with the car stationary and reved it up with no load changing the air flow curve to read clost to stoich values.
still need to put some resistors in to see if i can get the load values down further as it currently idles in the 3rd row (2200ish load) (50% afm corr, stock rb25 ign/inj map, air flow curve giving 14.5ish a/f ratio)
