-

sorry to hear you got ripped off mate... hope you find the bugger!

Hahaha yes I would love to see this car crushed. Imagine the lawsuit it would kick up...
Can bet if it was an import it would be seeing the crusher - willing to bet they make exceptions for half million dollar exotics.
regardless of how rare the car is it should still be crushed. if it was any one else then their car would be in the crusher!

so what else is there that looks good?

hey man..... you should check out do luck kits, i know you said you didnt want one but my mates gts4 has a sweet do luck bar on it and it looks awsome.
-
All these ppl who want 400r kits can i please buy your standard S2 front bar???????????????????????????????
I had a 400r front. Does look ok but too ricey for me and very (too) low.
Something inbetween would be great
hey champ, i'd give you mind but i never got a front bar with my car when i purchased it. i do however have a stock rear bar if your interested.. let me know.
the 400r kit is growing on me heavily... cant wait to get it! will post pics soon
-
Jack88 / Cam 84.. both very tough rides...
-
-
Have you had a look at other bodykits. 400r is the most common bodykit and personally i dont see anything special about them.
400r kits may be common but they are not over the top like some kits. its not to ricey
-
Are you looking at putting one on?? Please keep in mind that the front bar is quite low.... i scrub out often and am running stock height....
here is a pic of my car.... (minor damage on lip, all fixed now )
yeah thinking about it,
-
hey guys, has any one here got a 400r kit fitted to the R33?
i saw a kit at Drift Line yesterday and it looked tough as nails but it wasnt fitted to a car so i've got no idea how good/bad it will look. ive googled a couple of images but they all look different.
any photos would be great....

Don't listen to the naysayers! I bought and repaired a crashed R33 GTS and sold it for a profit (albeit with trade discounts, a panelbeater who charged in beer, and a painter who WAS the panelbeater).
Go for it, too many people are discouraging of younger blokes (myself included) entering the car scene. I know for a fact if it wasn't for some people egging me on I probably would have given up the moment I got my first car.
Do with the car what you will. Sure some things are mathematically better (especially considering NA R33's are often pricier than R33 GTST's) but just do what you want.
This all said personally it would be a repair, sell, buy GTST jobbie for me
R33_Dude, thanks for the great words of wisdom, makes me want to get it on the road even faster. i dont think ill end up selling it, once its got the 5 stud conversion, a decent diff and a turbo engine it will be just as good as a GTST.
lol

Looks like you've got a little bit of work ahead of you; but it'll sure be worth it once you're done! Best of luck to ya!
Yeah it would be cheaper to buy a gtst but at the moment I've only got so much cash, luckly this showed up at the right price ($1000). Building the. The car is the best part for any car enthusiest and at the end of the day I've got a car that I know majority of the history as I've put the engine in a d done all the work. I would have liked to buy an r32 but they are a tad old for me, an r34 is out of my price range and an r33 is just the right choice.
-
wow thats good, im looking to do the same with what you are doing to that one, jealous
hahah yeah well it will be a good project car.. ill certainly have fun doing it.
-
Bidding has ended so I guess you stil have a chance to buy it
thats a mean looking evo! gotta love the 4G63 blocks
-
Gearbox is actually similar size to r33 skyline except for that input shaft on r33 is stronger than patrol ones (could be the stress from transfer case).
Bozodos, don't talk to him, just drop it in without telling him
just drop it in!!! will be one tuff rig when its done..
-
its probably been convered before but i cant seem to find any posts regarding instructions/parts needed to do an auto to manual conversion.
Obviously the manual gearbox is needed but do u replace the auto loom with a manual loom or do u need to re-wire the auto loom in such a away that it recognizes a manual gearbox plugged in.

Is there any thing stopping me from using an rb30 turbo crank and pistons in an N/A RB30 block??
