    Rb30/26 Help!

    A mate of mine bought an r33 with what was supposed to be an rb30 with an rb26 head.

    While driving the car home, it blew a head gasket. He pulled it apart to find that someone had built what looks like an rb30 and rb26 pistons using a large spacer type head gasket.

    The pistons sit proud of the block at the top of their stroke and was curious if anyone else has come across a setup like this, and if so, where the fudge can we get another head gasket?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!

    Help With R32 Ls1 Steering Rack Placement?

    hey all.

    i am about a 3rd of the way to resuerecting the r32 and have heard that i'm going to have trouble fitting the starter motor and the power steering rack near each other.

    can anyone shed some light on a possible solution.

    i am using oem gtst crossmember with custom engine mount brackets and i want to keep power steering as it will be a street car.

    could i possibly just use a mini starter motor to solve the problem?

    To anyone that needs/wants rb20det parts.

    Complete running engine (with big end knock) and gearbox (good condition).

    At last tune made 304rwhp. Will separate parts as needed.

    Engine has...

    -High flowed head

    -Ceramic treated pistons

    -Apexi metal head gasket

    -Shot peened and balanced bottom end

    -ACL race rings/bearings

    -T04E turbo (internal gate), dump pipe/front pipe/high flow cat to suit turbo)

    -Custom front mount intercooler and polished stainless piping (fabricated by Mr Turbo on the gold coast to use oem holes in guard for piping.

    -550cc Denso injectors (with plugs) --- DIRECT BOLT IN

    -Super spark coils

    -Full 3' exhaust

    -Adjustable cam gears

    -Gates racing timing belt
