  1. First post, plus bad grammar, plus a poorly worded question about something that irks everyone (to put it nicely) = asking for a flaming

Next will be "How can I get fully sick dose? Wanna get my car to flutter!"

  2. Hi guys,

Long story short, my car is being repaired, but needs some wheels chucked on for a week or so until my new ones are shipped in.

If anyone has a set of wheels which would fit a 34 GTT, would be very much appreciated.

    Cheers

  3. Skyline model = 1998 R34 GT-t

Wheel model = Blitz (not sure what model exactly, all I know is that they are 3-piece, and 5 spoke)

    Wheel diameter = 18

    Wheel width = Front 8.5, Rear 9.5

Wheel offset = Not entirely sure, picture attached though

    Tyre size = Front 245/40, Rear 265/35

Modifications to fit = Again, not sure (was on the car when I got it...)

Well, that was my OLD set up (accident = damaged wheels = need to buy a new set!)

Which brings me to me to a question!

Getting some Enkei RP03s, and looking at the following:

    Fronts - 18 x 8.5, +30

    Rears - 18 x 9, + 18

Any thought on whether this will work?

    There is a 18 x 10, +22 option aswell.

    Any thoughts appreciated!

  4. Hi guys! I have little to no knowledge of wheels, and was wondering whether anyone can help me out here.

I'm looking at buying some Enkei RP03s for my R34 Gt-t, and I'm not sure how the specs will fit my car (i.e. whether they will fit, whether they will look any good, whether any modification will be required etc).

They have been pretty difficult to source, but I've found the following couple of options:

    18 x 8.5, +30mm offset

    and

    19 x 8.5 (don't have details on offset yet...)

Also, would specs for front and rear need to be different? Or the same?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

  6. If early to mid December I've got a gunmetal grey R32 GTR if your keen on something like having an R32, R33, R34 and maybe R35 line up

It's early December, and I think the next best thing after a 34GTR would be a 32!

If I can't orgainse a 34, this would be awesome. If you like you can PM me when you would be available, and what you might like in return? And I'll get back to you asap.

Just make it an sausa event.....show and shine escort.

That would be pretty amazing haha sau cruise for an escort would make my day

  7. Hey fellas.

I'm getting married in December (crazy I know), and am looking to have s couple of Lines for my wedding cars.

I'm going to use my 34 as one, but am looking for one 34GTR to be the second.

If anyone can help me out, would be greatly appreciated!

PM me if you may be able to help, and I'll let you know deets about the day.

Also, just let me know what I can do in return :)

    Cheers in advance fellas.

  8. I had a similar issue in my 34GTt.

Turns out (for me) one of the vac hoses was disconnected at one end (it had cracked at the end).

Snipped the end of the line, connected it back up, and good as gold. Ended up replacing that vac hose in the end just to be sure.

  9. If you want to use that as an example it would be like this: Its like saying someone is able to possess a shotgun(car) but as long as they dont killl anyone(hooning) then it is ok for them to possess it.

Theres one thing about voicing an opinion but then theres jumping up and down like a bunch of clowns - thought this thread got invaded by Boostcruising members for a second there. Just because she worded it differently to something like "On the day you will be issued a ribbon to put onto your car once you have made a donation to show that you are part of the charity cruise and for that we have spoken with the local law enforcement to show leniency towards those that are behaving on the charity cruise."

I think this sentence just resolved it for everyone!

How about we go along, have a good day, and help out a charity now? :(

  10. sounds to me like some of us are getting a little bit of a break, they're not cracking down as hard on skylines it seems?

it probably helps when the cop see's that you're not an idiot.

I reckon that is the main thing.

If you are a dick, and stand-offish, and argue, then you won't get any chances.

That's not to say you can't ask questions, but be civil about it.

If they see you are a decent person they usually give you one chance.

My experience with cops in general actually. If you know you've done something wrong, don't argue. And even if you haven't, don't be a dickhead

  11. Nawww leave the silvia alone hehe. It was a good cruise though. Making another one in 2 weeks. Still planning out which route and where to cruise to. Hope the weather is clearing up by then...

I'm always keen for another cruise...

If the next one is an open invite, can I have details?

    Cheers!

  12. Officer Neil invited himself to one of my Stagea cruises many moons ago. We had 25 Stageas at the meeting point and Officer Neil and his associate asked us to pop open our bonnets. He told me there and then, he wasn't there to defect us for minor mods. He knows we all modifiy our cars and said he'd really only attack the blatantly obvious unsafe mods/condition of the car.

You know how many cars he defected? None. Zero. Zilch. And that included Ben's 350+awkw 260RS.

Tho I have heard some stories about Officer Niel, its second hand information/heresay and alot of whinging on the forums. I've met the guy myself, had him go over my car ... twice ... and I still believe he is a fair bloke. Even if he does talk funny :P

Its simple. Don't be a dick, and you'll stand a better chance.

To be honest, Neil is just another cop doing a job (right or wrong). Its only because he's done the rounds enough and enough people know his name, that we have a name to whinge about when a defect is issued.

From my experience with him, he seems like a fairly decent guy just doing his job.

And he explained why the bc and wheel studs were illegal. Then gave me an opportunity to fix it up. Can't ask for more than that I guess?

  13. If it was Neil, he would have defected you and possibly even set fire to your car.

Ha yeah, this is the reputation I've heard, that's why I thought myself lucky. And hence why I won't be taking any risks, and getting those things seen to.

Not 100% sure that it was him, but he had the Scottish accent, and knew what he was talking about with the car.

Also said "he was down this way" for a few weeks, which I took to mean he's not from the area...
