  1. The only upgrade worth considering is swapping out the loop and stock plumbing for the nismo braided hose that goes directly from the master cylinder to the slave.

    I have decided to upgrade with a braided hose straight to the slave, but would u recommend the nismo slave or a genuine Nissan one? can the genuine one handle a supercoppermix clutch? or am i wasteing my time with that? also im sure its on SAU somewhere but its a R34 GTR a push or pull slave cylinder lol ?

  2. Hey guys, just a question to throw out there, But I have a 34 GTR running 350kw with a Nismo supercopper mix which is only 6 months old.

    However the clutch pedal has recently been getting softer and seems to have less travel, does anybody know what causes that? ive bleed the clutch but that didnt seem to fix anything.

    Also my old R34 had clutch problems with the hydraulic parts, and i dont want to waste money with the GTR, is it possible to convert it to a pull type cable clutch?

  3. Well I don't KNOW but I would assume it would be in te same category as no cat which I think is $5500 fine.... As screamers completely bypass all emissions hardware..... You sure it's not a split dump seems odd tht someone would install a screamer without at least letting you know ?!

    Yeah im not too sure, it has 2 wastegates because its a twin scroll setup, but comming straight off the wastegates is two pipes about 40cm long that cutoff just under the engine..

    just wondering if anybody knows nsw road rules, but I recently got a new single turbo fitted to my 34GTR and i noticed that my car now has screemer pipes.

    How illegal are they? and does anyone know how much the fine/defect is for getting caught? I like the sound they make but id rather not get a massive fine either.

  5. That looks like a serious cop magnet; how do you not get constantly defected?

    I got defected about 10times, got pulled over by the cops at least once a week lol, but have since upgraded to 34 GTR

  6. Hey just got a turbosmart dualport BOV for my 34 GTR, and I was just wondering if I am supposed to use 2 of them like the standard setup? Because I simply replaced the 2 standard BOV's with just 1 dual port and adjusted it like turbosmart suggested and it feels a bit sluggish when hitting boost?

  7. where are you getting these %'s from? the stock gauge is not in percentages of boost. it's in mm/hg from memory and stock boost is around 10-12psi which equates to about .7 or so. you sure you're not reading something else off the MFD?

    umm i use the stock gauge on the mfd, but peak boost on a good day goes to 1.00, so i just asume the percentages. when it only boosts at 0.60 then i call that 60%, sorry if i confused you.

  8. Hey i have a Stock R34 GTR and ive recenlty been having a problem with the boost, when the engine heats up after driving for a wile, it stops getting full boost. Ive done a full service on it but it still seems not to have fixed it, when cold it runs about 92% boost but when it warms up a bit it only runs about 60%-80% boost, its very anoying, does anybody have any ideas?

  9. hey, i have a R34 GT Coupe, and i wanna get a new front bar to replace that crappy old one, been looking at the "Bodyform Motorsports" website and noticed a front bar for a GTT, and another one for a 34 GTR. does anybody know if either of these fit straight on to a 'R34 GT - coupe nonturbo', without any changes made to the bumper or the car ?
