Hey guys i know this is an old topic but seems to be the most useful i am doing a rb25de neo swap into my brother inlaws cefiro he is only on his p's we have the motor box exhaust everything done except the wiring i jave the rb25det neo ecu pinouts but i am a little confused on where the other wires come from takushi mentioned the bcm? Does anyone have a wiring diagram or can point me in the right direction of to locate the wires?

Hi Ben, What our local Nissan expert Joe Nissan West Auckland did with my Cefiro to Neo conversion was He got the 2 engine looms and merged the 2 looms to make 1, You would think my loom was done at the factory, So really you do need the cefiro loom to as the engine wiring under the dash is totally different and wiring in the engine bay is needed out of the cefiro loom for the battery fuse box ect and there is a lot needed out of the neo loom ecu, engine knock sensors , other sensor ect, So the best advice i can give you is take both the looms to an expert and get them to make one out of 2, mine cost me 450 nz fitted , that was 4 years ago, hope this helps you, Jamind

    Hi everyone

I'm shopping around for 6mm hub centric (66.1) wheels spacers 4x114.3 . I've found a place who will make them for $90 but I want to find a cheaper price. There's a lot of non - hub centric spacers around for a lot less.

    Know of any good deals?

    Hi guys,

Im hoping that some of you can help me out with this. The wheels that im putting on the back of the cefiro are a bit too big, 18x10J ET0. Im looking to see have many of you cut and extended the back arches on your Cefiro's and do you have any pictures that I can use as a reference point.

This is the style below im going for. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check out these cefiro rear guards joe, from jamind

  5. Nice Cefiro Joe, I run 19 x 8.5 all round on my cef, i cant go any wider, I get a bit of guard rub on heavy cornering. I really dont know what your gana do except go inner, but thats major work, i like the style of your guards popped way out like that it looks cool. any check out my pics if you want, Jamind

  6. Good find Stripey, I know the only thing i had to change when i fitted my 34 Stagia RS4s Into my A31 Cefiro SE4 was the right front inner cv axle as the spline had changed, so all se4, rs4, r32,r33 , r34 GTR ect they are all the same the only difference is the right front inner cv axle spline has changed from a coarse spline to a fine spline on all R34 , 34 RS4 ect , thats were that drive shaft go into the transfer case on the right front inner. So easy interchanging Nissan parts are so cool, Jamind

  7. Hi, I Have a 1993 A31 Cefiro SE4, i have done the Conversion, Your Gts4 and my SE4 are the same, So i can give you some pointers, The R33 GTR gearbox has better gearing, your original sandw plate will be fine, The only difference is the standerd plate does not have the half shaft cut out,The gtr half shaft is a bit bigger than yours. your auto drive shaft should or will bolt straight back on, mine did, The Oil feed lines will bolt straight back on to the gtr box, Change all the oil for the whole 4 wheel drive system so let the rear feed line drain, it will empty the pump on top of ya rear diff and ya oil container, mine is in the boot on the right side,Also the front diff and clutch plate OIl. Leave the speed sensor disconnected, you can connect the reversing light switch i think its the same, I think there was a bit of modification on the rear gearbox mount, Sorry i cant remember that one, Use a 10in Clutch and pressure plate, I USE THE PULL STYLE CLUTCH, Stranded gtr , Its has been good, It has let me down twice on super fast take offs ive spun it but its all in the way you let it go with the throttle, i dun the spins in the first 6mths after the conversion , have dun that for 4 years or so, I also change all my gearing to 4.1 as i want more mid n top end for the open road,250ks check my listing to see the other mods i have done, Oh yeh when you re oil the pump and lines to.to the rear of the g/box is were you bleed it from, Mine took ages to get pressure again but it kinda the norm, Mine has been working perfectly since, but that oil is 20 odd years old, e this burble will help you, Jamind

  8. Hii, There are plenty of good second hand Stagea RB25DET Neo Series 2 Engines about, If you wanted to put an R34 GTR Engine unit complete with all the engine wiring, ecu, pipes, hoses ect, Wow there is one on Ebay now in auction 2 days ago it was up to $19000us+, Mind Blowing, I couldnt believe the price, But Your Neo if it a manual engine puts out 220 kw out of the Factory, more grunt than the R32 gtr,206kw A good 25det neo will be your best bet $2500 to $4000, But make sure it has been compression test and garanteed before you buy one, I run Tein road & track adjustable damper, Hieght Adjustable Coil Over, Paid $800 for then second hand of a gtr 5 years ago now & they are still working fine. Hope this helps Jamind

  9. What are your plans for it?...would be my first question

If you are tracking it then suspension, diff etc. If it's a daily then boost controller and a dyno run to make sure its safe, then suspension and a remap.

The list is pretty much endless...

Hi, Can ya remap a r34 gtt ECU, I thought you can only add a nismo board or run a piggy back or upgrade to a real one, But if a remap is now available i would like to know about it, Thanks Jamind

  10. Hi, I have a Neo in my 93 A31 Cefiro SE4, The guy that did my wiring loom Used my original engine loom and my 2000 Stagea RS4s engine wiring loom, He intergrated them together leaving my dash wiring, and any other original wiring that's not needed for the actual engine in tacked and removing the old engine computer and sensor wiring, Then took the Stagea loom added the wiring for the computer and engine sensors ect, It now look like a factory loom, a MINT JOB, cost $650, Turned the key and it started first pop. The 4wd drive wiring I not included with the engine wiring it is on a separate loom that's the abs and atessa computer ect, Well I hope this puts on the right track good luck, Jamind

  11. Hi, I use Tien road & track coil overs, They were second hand of a R32 GTR , They have been on my Cefiro for 4 years now and still working perfectly , I think the rear spring fate was a bit light but when i up graded my sway bar it came right, Sorry i cant tell you what rate the tien springs are but the fronts are very heavy duty, Well RB's are heaviy in the front, Jamind

  12. HI, Stick with your original ecu, R32 are different in the electrics department when it comes to wireing ect, Before i up graded my A31 RB20DET i had a dynotuned APET chip fitted to my ecu, Wow unbelieve able power, at that time i ran a 5 speed , modified exhaust and a good pod filter n adjustable blow of valve, After fitting and checking the tune i took my cefiro for a drive and it freeked me out how much faster it was with sweet f all done to the engine, I have all of the specs on the APET Chip and i still have that same ecu, I will sell it for $400 nz if you are interested, I run a RB25DET Neo Now, Regards Jamind
