Greetings Guys.. i just wanted to show you updated pictures of my ride.
I have been using the car for almost 2months now.
Setup basically is gtr kit
and engine transplant from rb20de neo6 automatic to 1jz-gte still automatic
I have managed to get everything to work.. and also still use my original shifters.. including the overdrive fundtions and power..
all the gauges work also correctly.. inshort if you were to sit down.. you would have no idea that i change the engine..

The lsd will won't allow the rear wheels to spin until both are spinning (in very simple terms)...so instead of the engine wheelspinning one tire, it has to do it to both of your rear tires.
This is good.. but this is my dilemma.. you see the roads here in the philippines are not exactly as smooth and even.. meaning. .there will be parts of the road wherein you would have a sudden jump.. not very high.. but if you drive at 180km.. even the slightest uneven road would make your car bouncy.. thus with this situation.. what are the chances that when the tires suddenly landfoot again on that small jump.. it wont start spinning?

can you please enlighten me on how LSD would prevent me on slipping?
sorry for the noobness.. but I thought people placed LSD for them to be able to drift.. which means when you drift you actually on purposely make it lose traction right?

Good Evening guys.
I'm driving a Nissan Skyline r34 4door. My Stock Engine is RB20de Neo 6.
I never had problems with traction up until i changed my engine.
Now my Engine is the 1jz-gte.. as you all know.. its twice the power of the NA RB20.. its also matic so i get the occational fishtailing when step on the gas and the engine downshifts.
How can i prevent this from happening. Im not an experienced racing driver.. and im really afraid that when my car loses traction i just might lose it.
the car isn't on LSD.. and most of the time the roads here are dry. Since here in the Philippines the weather is tropical.
What are the steps i could take to prevent my car from wheel spinning, having traction, no fishtailing?

Very very nice mate, I am doing the same conversion to my R33
How did you do your engine mounts? Did you make them yourself or buy a kit?
I used the mounts that came with the 1jz Engine.. Then welded the mounts to the body.. with additional reinforcements..

and to all aussie guys questioning why he did this - in thailand, malay and phillipines.. the 1JZ is a very cheap and easy to access engine..
RB is a lot more expensive!

goodmorning guys.. i have a quick query regarding the key. you see.. my remote key buttons have been teared apart already due to wear and tear. would you happen to know where i can source the rubber button inside the remote key? or if the situation is worse than i expected then maybe the whole remote key case with the rubber button? im desperate. i cant seem to find that rubber anywhere here in the philippines.

Eric.. the parts of the 1jz are stronger.. by upgrading just the turbos add a boost controller and fuel reg.. you can actually raise the boost to 1.6bar.. which makes your 1jz engine have 580bhp with stock internals.. the rb26 cant handle that high boost with stock internals..

actually i was comparing it to the rb26 compared to the 1jz.. what i meant was.. the money i would spend in the 1jz would give me higher gains than if i spend the same amount on the rb26..

well.. id be spending way way more.. if i continue with a rb engine.. its so expensive.

as of the moment would maintain the stock turbos.. plan to change to 2 bigger turbos.. not 1 single..

What is the difference between the ER34, HR34, EN34? i know that the BNR34 is the GTR
also.. are the shock absorbers the same for the sedan and the coupe?
