    Engine Shuddering. Need Help

    I had a similar issue when i bought my 99 non turbo, at the lights the engine will shudder but go away whilst driving.......mine went away when i put in some some fuel injector cleaner and put nothing but 98 petrol.

    Ill give that a go. Found out that the car was run to nearly empty maybe it could have some sediment gone through the system or just dodgy fuel. Might try to drain the tank.

    HI guys,

    Im asking this on behalf of a friend. She just recently bought a 99 skyline GT 4 door. The car was running fine when she bought it last month but now have develops what could be described as a shudder.

    The car seems to shake when the revs are low and sometimes conks out when idling. Also sems to have lost a bit of power. Any help with this issue would be much appreciated.

    The warm staring problem has disappeared i think it might have been dodgy fuel.

    Had a look at the battery terminal with the car running. couldnt get a reaction from wiggling it. but when i was there i heard a clicking from what my dad thinks is a relay heres a pic

    Its located in the back left of the engine bay. Heres a close up of the relay.

    Whenever the relay ticks the lights flick off for a split second.

    So my question is... What is this thing and what does it do? Also if I replace it will it fix my problem? If it does where can I get one from?

    had the same thing on my 32

    wiggle it while the engine is running, you should be able to hear a difference

    A pic would be much appreciated.

    Im not the most mechanically minded person so any info i can get is great.

    Spotted Phoenix88's yellow R34'd C34 at Pitlane Automotive.

    Didn't have time to look under the bonnet, have you got the pod boxed/shielded yet?

    Nah havent got that done yet. Im having electrical issues just trying to get them cleared up.

    Seem to spot a black c34 on seaford rd at 7.30 most mornings any one on here?

    Hi everyone,

    Ive been having issues with my electrical system, symptoms consist of the lights flicking off for a split second when car is running(also affects dash lights cd player and other electrical items in the car.) Also the car was struggling to start after i have turned it off.

    Ive taken it to my mechanic and he cant find any obvious problems apart from a ticking relay switch. He said he needs a diagram of the harness to help him out. If anyone could tell me where to get one that would be much appreciated. Or if you have any suggestions as to what the problem could be and any possible solutions.
