I was running 23psi that day but in my last session it was constantly spiking to 30psi. I noticed from the sound of the gates and the power increase. I backed off and brought it in. It made some funny noises momentarily and I drove it home. I'll need to get it looked at

    Oh wow yea get that checked don't want that happening all the time

    As long it drove home with no issues is the main thing

    Yes mate I know. That was my first time I've tracked the car and also first time on south circuit. I went to learn the car and have some fun. I definitely have alot of learning to do but I think I did ok for my first time, not the easiest car to learn on haha

    I got a 1:09, i know not very good, I think I'll run less boost next time and focus on track work. A few guys there were great support, I appreciated that!



    Hey Ben did the boost controller give the error again after we had a look at it??
    Did really well mate once you get comfortable with the car times will drop

    Spewing I missed this! Anything else on before we go on the 29th? I know the basics but I bought my car built, as is and its abit advanced for me. Still a lot of learning to do but I want to get serious and compete when I can

    You mean you'll get more lag and shift the mid range higher up the RPM..

    Longer duration cams are not the answer to getting better response or making better mid range.. Yes you will make more torque yes you'll make more power but not where you want it.. and that's nice and early.

    I have 272 by 10.8 cams on a 2.6 with -9 turbos and have full boost 21psi by 3800rpm on 98

    Yeah think we will roll with that next time.

    Mistake I made was using Rs3's on practice and then A048's during the race. Not even pushing as hard I was consistently 2 seconds faster.

    Big learning during this race and was so much fun being on the track with so many different cars. Cant wait for Phillip Island!!

    Is the club going to decide who's cars it's going to allow in its stand or anyone that enters will be in the club stand?

    Anyone that enters and sends form to us is in

    So if I want the Mega Pack enrty, i just fill out the form, send the form to SAU (who will take care of the registration) and pay the $150 to jetmultimedia via paypal?

    SAUNSW Club Entry for

    2016 GTR Festival

    SAUNSW has been invited by Motive DVD to have a club display displaying members cars at the 2016 GTR festival

    This means you will have the opportunity to have your GTR displayed together with other SAUNSW members GTRs at a discounted rate to normal admission.

    You will be part of the biggest gathering of GTRs outside of Japan ranging from R35 GTR to the Hakosuka

    There will also be the following at the show

    • Drag racing
    • Go to whoa
    • Launch pad
    • Dyno Comp
    • GTR car yard
    • GTR swap meet
    • Various trade stands
