    I am looking for RB30 short block, my block got damaged and need a new set. I would like to buy from 1 -4 blocks. please let me know what you have. I would also like to have series 2 but doesn't have to be.

    HEAD WORK

    mild port n polish

    1mm oversized valves(brian crower)

    272 with 10.55 lift cams(kelford)

  3. ok so i went to the dyno yesterday and i want to know some opinions on the power i made, i think its kinda low for this setup but i want to know yalls opinion. so i made 775 hp 636ft/tq on 27 psi. power band is from 5200-7500 rpms. i will post the graph up tomorrow when i get to work. but heres the video of the run, i had to stop n couldnt do any more until i get better boost controller and fix my radiator spill that happens on only on higher boost.

    Hopefully if i can get this apexi boost controller to work i can go to dyno in 2 weeks and results see if they are good for my mods.

    no not going for your so cool. just letting people enjoy seeing other peoples build, everyone has ideas of what they think is good and not and wanted see everyone opinion on my car.

  6. well i just wanted to share my build with my fellow RB peps. so not only am i building the motor but im also doing right hand drive conversion aswell. for the most part the RHD is complete well the body part but still need to do the wiring, the motor is coming together. im doing rb30 which its gonna be 3.1L with big turbo(S372) 1000cc injectors dual fuel pumps on E85. Full over haul, 1mm oversize valves springs retainers, port and polish. i have a blog i started so ill keep that updated aswell this post when get things do to car. my goal is 700-800whp. hopefully this will do good and last long time. the site is http://www.j2fast.blogspot.com

  7. Just a pointer re RHD.... Have you looked into compliance on a japanese car? It would be a hell of a lot cheaper to buy a car out of japan and get it shipped to the states.

    It just seems crazy doing a RHD conversion on a car that was always designed and mostly produced as a RHD vehicle. Would save you so much heartache to just buy one..

    If its an S13 you can pick them up for next to nothing (probably similar there in the states).

    In the states it's not that easy. Here these cars are highly illegal, so customs will sieze these cars as soon as they cross over here. You cant bring them over in the full car, so thats why you usually see them chopped in half. That's why we only get front clips. People who have these cars are getting them taken away by the government and they get crushed.

  9. the precision tO4r is very similar to a tO4 but the precision one has GT compressor wheel design and the old TO4 hot side and journal bearings so for road use... get a .82 or if they don't make one a .84 you will get 29psi with that using a big waste gate... you don't say what the purpose of this car is so it makes it difficult but if you were drag racing with a big stall converter and a trans brake you could go up to the next size I think that's a 1.00 and then 1.04 but a 1.15 is getting too big I think.. anyone else got an opinion??

    i think the .84 would be to small for my application, but im using it for highway runs and to like mile runs to top out the car hoping to break over 200mph in a mile.

    If you're not happy to consider a different turbo, all you can do is put the largest rear on it and be done with it. Don't complain about lag if you're not happy to change turbos :)

    its not about me not wanting to get a better turbo, its about im getting this one for free until i get another one. i know i should expect lag, but im asking which AR is better for level of power im looking at with the stuff i have

    well im in the process of getting a new turbo (the t72 blew) and i came a cross a free good condition turbo which is a precision t04r turbo. the only thing is it doesnt come with the hot side. so my question is what size should i go with? my motor will be completely built (ex. pistons, rods, valve train, 272 cams, port and polish) now im trying to make close to 800whp as possible with this turbo an i was thinking about getting the 1.15AR but didnt know if that would be way to laggy on this rb30 are not(i came from rb25). i will using e85 aswell for my fuel to high boost is not a prob im trying too aim for about 29psi as my high boost. i tried to look online but most post dont have results with the AR on it to compare. im not looking to get another turbo just needing help with this one to maximize my power from it.

  12. the stock throtle bodies will handle 580rwkw at all 4 wheels (GTR) seen it personally. thats got to be close to 1000 engine HP

    yes, i know it can handle it but its just like porting the head, its good up to like 700/ 800 hp but it will make a better power graph if ported out.

  13. im looking for bigger itb for my rb30/26. here in the usa theres not that much for the skyline so i fiqure someone overseas would know if someone makes something like that are does people just switch to single? lmk what you know about this.
