Ah, you're missing out on the most fun thing: learning to give voice commands in Japanese. Stinking hot day and saying "Air con ju-hachi do" gets a few laughs from the passengers.
I tried this today and had a good giggle. Got any more commands I can try?

Hi everyone! I picked up my very stock CKV36 Type S (slate blue) today. Very pleased to be driving a NA again. Gonna try to keep it stock for a while, but I've already got a shopping list for coilovers, arms and new shoes
Also I think I accidentally set the navigation on it earlier, does anyone know a shortcut to cancel route guidance?

Hey guys, anyone NOR got a set of R34 stockies (17x7.5+40) with decent tyres I can borrow? Will compensate for your time of course
-
Hey all, is there anyone here that owns a Y34?
I'm looking for stock shocks/springs/wheels to buy or borrow for pits. I went to Northside today and they wanted $900 per shock so no good there, have you guys seen any workshops/wreckers with Y34 parts?

No love for us zedders Eps?
I usually only bother to wave to the older, more classic models to show my appreciation (Datsuns!!!)... and they always wave back with a

Did you guys make the adapter yourself, or was it a Mazworx/Xcessive/elwesso?
-
I recommend them. The owner, Fauzer, is very nice and helpful. You'll see a lot of zeds there

^ I was born in and grew up in Jakarta, and the people and shops are exactly as you described
-
Indonesia is far from being "third world" LOL, have you ever been to Jakarta?
The craftsmen there may not charge nearly as much as here, but they are very talented. I get custom guitar bodies made in Bandung, quality is second to none!
Listen to Eps!

Oh daamn, so that was a Skyline! Drove past this the other day and was like

What brand reps are they? Just get the Varrstoen reps, then you don't have to mess with hubcentric rings (not spacers). Also that's a lot of meat to fit under the fenders... you'll probably need to use thinner tyres. I run a 235 on my 9.5" wheel.

LSx crate motors are pretty popular. You should get a real V8 though, get a VH45 halfcut from an importer. None of this old pushrod crap
-
As long as you didn't hack up the reo bar to fit the FMIC and it's supported well you should be fine. 3in catback should be ok too, unless it's stupidly loud...

Borrow some wheels from someone which have huge tyre profile lol.
and then not pass because of wrong tyre profile. lol

Your temps shouldn't creep up while stopped as long as you retain a fan shroud and a good working clutch fan

I've got a Walbro GSS342 that I just pulled out. PM me

Depends on the inspector as said above. Give the underside of the car a good de-greasing so nothing looks like it's leaking, make sure you have good tyres and a tyre placard. Also make sure you have in writing that you have purchased the unregistered car, "PAID IN FULL", signed and dated. And the amount of stamp duty you pay depends on how much you pay for the car (hinthint)

Problem is cost lol.
All the little stuff adds up, and before you know it 20+K gone!!
This is true... I had to order endless little bits and wait ages each time from Nissan Japan/USA. Just today I found out I'm missing a fuel dampener so there's another 2 weeks gone
Easily spent 20 grand on the swap already, haven't even looked at engineering yet

Thanks for the feedback guys.. I have replaced the king springs with Tein coilovers just today and the wheel dimensions I put on earlier were for a set of bbs lm replicas.. Does any1 know where I can get a set of lm replicas that will sit more flush?
VarrsToen in the US make BBS LM reps, but they will sit more poke than flush without rolling/flaring/pumping (19x9.5/10.5+0)
-
Every set of rims i see with a decent amount offset is up around $1500+
You can get a brand new set of 18/19x10.5+0/12/22 TE37/CE28 reps from USA for less than 1.4k.

Nah don't bother going to them, it's just next to my college / UWA that's why I'm eating there. The food is alright but nothing to shout about.
But if you must, it's Broadway Fair Shopping Centre, 1st hour free parking. There's a black R33 GTR parked there, daily.
Yep that black 33R in the undercover carpark... been parking in the same spot for 4 years now lol
The BBQ pork at the Chinese restaurant IS something to shout about! Probably the best I've tasted in Perth.
The sushi's also f**king good there, but the Jap meals aren't great.

Why are your wheels illegal, are you using spacers?
Try zclub.com.au, there's probably more 370Z owners on there. Your location would help too...
