  1. Now when you say you got greedy and turned up the boost..... exactly how much psi were you running?

And the blown spark plugs, what do you mean? EDIT: Did they actually come out of the head

  2. Although Permi-online is bad it was the way things have been heading for some time, the first one i personally saw heading down this path was C&C(not getting into the whole WOW)... so after SC2: P1 was released i knew it was the way Blizzard were going to go with D3. Cracks will probably be released but for true enjoyability it will require the full version with mates and a internet connection, unlike D1 & D2 which me and my friends would smash for week's on end with just a local TCP/IP alone.

Torchlight was a offering some time ago by Runic games, that some-what resembles D3...

  3. R33 plazmaman intake plenum.

Comes with plenum, bottom half to head, vacume fittings. All you need is to bolt your throttle body onto it and your idle control valve.

    $950

    Rb25 hiflow 740cc injectors. Run 380rwkw

    Come with rail

    $450

OK... is there a adjusted price if both are taken and if you have flow results for the injectors and have they have been run together(plenum+rail+injectors)? Plus receipts for the plenum, etc? Basically a EOI from me ATM.(no guarantee's)

(looking to change my setup soon and these kind of things will be needed, post pics if you have them)

    Cheers,

    Shannon

  4. Fair enough, my point was "can you trust the compliance company"?

Personally after my compliance(r33 gts-t) i got my mechanic to change all oils(brake, engine, tranny, diff, etc) to what he thought best, as well as the oil filter however he has owned VL turbo's and 300zx's for many years with no problems...

But under 1,000 kms old i would not stress too much as you will be changing the oil and filter in another 5,000 km's again or so anyways....

My father who is a mechanic also recommends that a oil change = a change of filter, generally speaking (as a oil filter is cheap considering it filters out the impurities in the oil).

  5. Alright, if you know for a fact that the filter is new or less than 1-2 thou km's than no real problems from what i know but otherwise = oil filter change....

You now own a GTR, expect to spend money and no i am not joking.

EDIT: if it was me i would pay the $20-40 odd dollars and change the bit*h for peace of mind... if you know what i mean.

  6. Hey guys just need some advice.

I am about to do a quick oil change with some Motul 10w40. I recently got the car from Japan and picked it up from compliance who done an oil change (not sure of oil) and filter change (OEM Nissan filter). I want to know if it is OK to just do an oil change and leave the filter as it is new or do I need to change that aswell?

    Thanks in advance.

Oil change = change filter... just to be on the safe side.

  7. I used to spin the stock tyres/rims, upgrade to at least 225 all round with good tyres and you shouldn't have a problem but be careful in the wet.... the torque you see, especially when turning and accelerating.

EDIT: I currently run 255 on the rears and if i give it some in the lower gears it will slide big time in damp conditions.... (stock suspension, etc)

  8. TL:DR, Iron chef for pres, sorry Sled. Tangles for V-P. Have wanted to be a member for a long time like many others in SA but there is no I.Q. test, (etc or internet I.Q. test) so i will remain on the outer until it happens.... LOL :whistling:

Too many cork heads lately if you know what i mean..... ((5 x 28 day impounds) + 1 to be caught).....
