I have owned this car for a bit over a year now and have used it as my daily driver. I'm selling due to wanting an upgrade of something different.
Rego ends January 2012
The car is screaming out to be resprayed, I purchased it with the clear coat flaking and some minor dings. Since owning it, it now has a dint on the bonnet and a scratch on the rear drivers side quarter panel.
Bought it completely stock with the exception of a pod filter. While owning it a respray was the first thing on the list but got I carried away buying wheels, coilovers and other stuff mentioned above .
The power steering pump only half works so the steering is heavier than usual.

Yeah thanks for that, since its an RB20DE, im not really fussed on making it go fast. Just wanting to make it flush, fit well and less defectable as i can. Big fan of your fitment, even following you on jdmst lol.
-
I'm thinking of buying a set of Rota Grid's in staggered fitment of 9 and 9.5 wide with +12 offset all round for my 32 gts.
I know that theres the 'wheel offset and sizes for skylines thread' but im finding it hard to find this size and offset for a gts-t/gts.
Has anyone fitted similar to these sizes to their r32, and did it involve any flaring or rolling? im scared that when they come that they'll stick too far out the guards even with flaring.

Thanks for posting this. Finally able to put my hids in and im really happy with the results!

Hi, recently purchased a set of tein ha front and kei office rear coilovers for my whip. but the 2 mounting studs for the teins are threaded like crazy. ive been to a bolt store, local suspension joint, bursons and pedders and they dont have them. last resort is to call up tein and order them but i'm guessing that would take a while and i'd rather them on asap .
Does anyone know where to get some, other than Tein Australia?
Or is it possible to just use the mounting studs from the stock shocks on at the moment?
Cheers

can you put some pics up?

prepare to love mr eps.
they're OEM cefiro wheels.
they were also used on a few R31's..
i used to have a set of 4 haha
here - excuse the centrecaps
Haha, Mr Eps you got me excited, appreciate the interest though lol.
Still need to find out what these wheels are so i dont resort to spraying 2 of my stock wheels black!!
-
Depends on what brand/quality of parts hes using, 800 is a pretty reasonable price
Yeah i guess thats true, just seems abit much for a cat and piping. If you dont mind me asking, whats the stock piping size of my n/a r32? Haven't measured it myself, but searching online is getting me nowhere
-
are there any markings/stickers on them from when they were cast/produced?
theres just 16x7.5 and that usual logo on every rim, kinda like a j and and m of what i can recall. i think there were stickers on the back of the rim but its been half ripped off and no way of seeing what was on it.
-
Yeah mate im sure it will fix it as long as its good quality, your better off going to a custom exhaust place and telling them you dont want the noise there and they will do it for you, thats exactly what i did and it was the best decision i made.
How much did it set you back? I went to 'Fast Fit' today and he quoted me that a high flow 2.25 cat, piping and a muffler would cost me 800 something..... I'm not too knowledgable about cars but im pretty sure hes ripping me off hardcore. But if i supplied the high flow cat myself and the muffler, he'd supply the piping and weld it on for $30.

Hey guys, recently purchased a pair of cheap 16's from user: "Drift Engage House". (Great seller i might add)
The wheels are great.. but as i said, their only a pair .
They came silver, but after spraying them black i've really wanted to find a second pair!
Would greatly appreciate it if someone knew what rims they are or maybe what they came off stock.

That raspy noise you hear is a very common noise heard on all NA skylines, it isnt a problem, its just gotta be replaced with a good exhaust system to get rid of it. Cheap generic cannons make it heaps worse so dont think about one of them!! And for size for an rb20de i would think 2.25 inch should be good.
Yeah i found that out after a fait bit of the search button lol. Would replacing the cat to a new high flow cat and changing the piping all the way from the cat back to the muffler fix this? Just want to get this fixed already!
-
have you checked your exhaust , sounds like your cat may have broken up?? 2 1/2" should be enough for a NA
Not entirely sure on how to check it :\. All i know that it sounds like absolute shit. How would i be able to check it? Would that include me having to take it out and weld it back together?

Hey all,
I need to know a suitable size cat back exhaust for an N/A r32 rb20. I've been told that 3" is way to big so i'm looking for something between 2" and 3".
The main reason im changing my exhaust is that really annoying rattle between 2-3 grand, and where the rattle goes crazy after 5 grand rpm, also wondering if a high flow cat and a different tip/cannon/muffler will get rid of this awesome sounding rattle?
Thanks, Arthur
