  1. Thanks I actually found some new 225/45/19 pirelli pzero nero, but were manufactured in 2006 but heres the next bit went to bob jane and said that they cant put it on since its older than 5 years.... think its their store policy. Does anyone know of a good place in perth who will put these on for me?

    Thanks in Advance

  2. Think there is a max number of songs it can read something like 512

any idea what the limitation on the cf cards are?

i loaded about 13gb worth of songs onto a 16gb cf card. the player can on see the first 37 folders :(

other than that, it works great btw.. instant load just like the hdd. no waiting for discs to spin up.

  3. You can't buy the 225 X 40 X 19 tyres in Australia. When mine was complied they put 245 x 45 X 19 front and rear and changed the placard to suit. This was a crapy paper label that I peeled off again. I will import my own 225 X 40 X 19 tyres from the USA. First thing that the workshop did after mine got compliance was put the Bi-xenon head lights back in the car.

Thanks makes sense, wonder how my dealer is going to sort this out since they are in NSW... Hopefully the pits arent anal about the actual wheel specs ie x/x/19 as long as they are 19s

  4. One of the pictures shows the V36 Skyline AUX connector and the other is the American G37 AV input both found in the center arm rest. I assume there is a wiring harness to convert the mult pin socket to simple RCA video and audio. Anyone know where to get one?

    Thanks

  5. Have a read of this LINK as I actually used your problem as an example when it comes to what happens with interstate cars not complied correctly as DPI know what to look for these days.

Going off the Tyre Packard they might not have evidence for 19" rims which can be an issue as DPI can look on DOTARS web site (I can as well) as to all the info submitted by the workshop.

For the HID's workshops just don't do them to save money, they might just think it is your problem now as they are on the other side of the country.

I can help you sort the HID issue and make sure it will be at no cost to you so PM me your details, with the rims that might be an easy fix.

Just realized I cant pm since i'm new to the forum, do you have a email address to contact yourself.

    Thanks
