so you dont like its looks (i used to but oddly i have moved away from that stance..especially since i keep spotting gay unicorns making out in them) but they are reliable.
how is it dynamically? would you ever track it?
TT's are pretty much off the list anyway, only a new RS would be any good and not enough monies for those.
Yeh seems to handle nice, but I would prefer the Z just on looks. It does 7L/100Km and has a decent power lever.

I have a TT, I hate the look of the thing and was by accident i ended up with it, but it has done 270k and has only had a couple of hoses and a aux water pump replaced. It is a 2000 model 1.8t quattro.

Not to mention you can bend the electrodes, some times stick is the only way to get to a job.

Well I guess it is your money at the end of the day, just trying to say there are 2 sides to every story. I'm in no way saying I side with the seller, if he is completely dodgy he definatly deserved the email.

I guess I'm more concerned with the way you worded it, seemed a little to aggressive. I can understand petero'nell sending something like that but all you are going off is one guy on a forum who got a dodgy deal. His eBay feedback is good.

Lil bit crazy i guess, money isn't to much of an issue as it will be a long term project. I'm not really concerned about performance to much, but it will just be a weekend car and maybe see the strip twice a year. Thanks for the help guys, really appreciated.

I joined the turbo202 forums and asked a couple questions, but they are a bit slow to respond so ill ask here to. Any benefits of running twin 38mm throttle bodys over a single 80mm?
And benefits of running say a 3-4inch spacer between the charger and intake manifold, like a tunnel ram sort of system?

yes i thought you were running a different style of SC .i reckon a late falcon TB would do the job. Its 80mm I think....

it is designed for carb but you could easily replace that with some form of injection, a top of the the line yella terra head and your stroker block. should go hard..

So I'm assuming I'm right about the tb in front of the supercharger? Would it work with individual tbs after the sc? How do I workout size? Also need help on the ecu?

meh dont waste your time with an intercooler ,as I said get an old redline torker manifold or similar then maybe stick either stick 4 big injectors in a base plate made to mount the supercharger on the manifold or fab some injector holes into each individual intake runner. just use a water/meth setup if it gets too hot. Will be much neater setup this way

I thought about the rb option but doesn't apeal to me as much. I guess I want to keep the nostalgia feel to the car. The blower I am thinking of using is a harrop htv 1320. I planned to run it on the opposite side to the intake and run a pipe from under the charger around the front to the intercooler then to a custom plenum? I'm a fitter/machinist and have access to a miller and lathe so I planned on doing the custom stuff myself.

When a couple mates found an abandoned VR in a car park, they had to get a letter from the owner of the car park stating the car had been there for over 3 months. That was about 5 years ago in QLD.
