Hi people,
Im new to the forum so forgive me. I have just bought my first jap car, nissan 200sx series 2 (after years of commodores).
I bought a 2nd hand ignition barrel and key from the wreckers.
I want to know where the device is located which reads the central locking off this key so that i can use it to open my doors. I want to take out the unit out of my car, and exchange it from the one still at the wreckers (which matches up with the Ignition barrel and key i just got).
So any help where i can locate this unit?
How to undo it?
And confirmation that once i swap it over to the one which matches my key it should work?
Any help much appreciated.
If i have posted this in the wrong section, could someone redirect it to the right section, and also email me, i need to find out soon before the unit at the wreckers gets sold.
