  1. www.youtube.com/watch?v=0SLgAJtQIPE

not sure if anyone seen's this? Plug an iphone into the car and to get GPS.......does he mean, via the AUX video port? If so that is pretty much common sense or does he mean the 16 pin connectors next to the audxiliary ports? I thoguht the japs didn't make an ipod intergration?

i'm confused but yet excited at what his saying.....

  2. This is correct. It will not rip MP3 CDs/DVDs or from the CF.

Buy a 50 spindle, burn your Audio CDs in iTunes to get all correct song names etc appear and after it's copied then give the CD to a friend as a present.

If anyone can show some screenshots of deleting individual songs or a step by step guide - that would be great. I can't do this.

Do you know if it will play mp3's off a DVD? i burnt one last night and no go but wasn't sure if it wasn't possible or the way i burnt the dvd.

  3. i jsut had a look at the stero connector in the car, and nope doesn't seem like it will work. the US cable is 16 pin and the jap one has different shape and the nubmer of pins.

guess we're stuck on the ipod AV cable then, which means no console controlling or integration and changing songs will ahve to be via the ipod only.

Additionally the AV cable doesn't charge an ipod

  4. i got an 08 model, and it has a dvd, i just tried burning mp3's to the dvd but it didn't work or it seem like it doesn't work, it just kept reading.....

will it be able to play mp3's off the dvd? or can it only do it off a cd? seems a bit dated if it can play normal dvd's but not mp3's off a dvd

either that or i'm burning it wrong with Nero on a DVD- disk

  5. i'm in Canterbury area. The only close one to me is probably the Nissan dealership in burwood but they dont service imports.

Paramatta is probably my only choice and they do open saturday. Anyone had experiences with them before?

or should i jsut go to a recommended mechanic? I noticed that the nissan dealers were saying they do software checks, so not sure that other mechanics would have these tools for the service

  6. Yeah the suspension is same across the board although type P gets 19" mags too. i d go for this one if i were you? which year model are looking for. remeber 08 is updated model. manual or auto?? If you are in sydney i can show u the prices in japan. If you need a compliance i got mine issued this month so got another 95 for sale... ;) If you wanna roughly tell me ur budget i can prolly tellu what u can get. cheers!!

didn't know the type P's came with 19" mags as well, i thought they were the 18" 5 spokes?

    Sent you a PM

  7. Yea I have to agree. It's an awesome car. No need to test drive - I didn't. All you need is to be impressed with the spec sheet and photos, coz you won't be dissappointed when you get the actual car. It's basically a 335i with Lexus looks at half the price.

does anyone know if the suspensions on the coupe type P and S are the same?

i know the P's come with 18" stock and the S with 19" stock

  8. No issues at all. Clears on all sides without any mods at all. Not even a rougher ride like I was expecting.

Just need to improve the stance a bit.

I think the coupes clear even better than the sedans so you should be right.

    Cheers

thanks for that, you mind me asking how mcuh you pay for them rims?

btw quick question the v36's being so rare here, did anyone manage to test drive one before they brought or did they jsut jump striaght in and got it imported?

  9. the rims finally rocked up to our shores (from the us) and i picked then up a couple of weeks ago. thought i'd post up some picks. be kind, im a bit of a noob with photography.

next on the list, some coilovers and rear camber arms.

    big <3 to hawthorn tyrepower.

woahh!!! awesome vossens! love the concave look

do you get any scrapings against ur fenders or did u already cut and scrape them back?

looking at a v36 coupe myself and the vossens is defintely on my list to get

  10. Not sure about what people are saying 46-48, Few V36 370GT Coupes gone through auction recently "last few weeks" for a lot cheaper and sedan considerably cheaper

the SP version is a bit pricey IMO and so is Black Color ones

I was looking at importing V36 for a Few months after selling my V35 Coupe, but settled on a R34 in the end - personal preference

    for example -

    http://www.j-spec.com.au/featured/2008-Nis...pe_S-15370.html

and these are dealer cars, so if someone is patient from Auction you can probably buy even cheaper

and i know Silver V36 are bit cheaper in Jap, but still its lot cheaper than 48K

i'm observing the same thing as well, basically a type P can be had for around $2million yen or jsut below even. whilst a type S lingers around $2.2 to $2.3M, but given similar conditions its practically the color that dictates the price, oh and manual fetches a fair bit higher as well.

I was told this is not yet the busy season for auctions, so the amount of 370gt is still limited. However, with the strenght of the yen, these prices might not even hold in the foreseeable term.
