100% ball bearing core I had it rebuilt when I put it on the patrol

hey guys I'm running a rb25 turbo on my Nissan patrol diesel its been running 15-16 psi daily for about 1 year now
what I'm wondering is how do I know wich turbo I have?
I know its got a good front wheel (not plastic) and I believe the rear wheel is steel also not ceramic I know it is a ball bearing unit
what I'm wondering is I want to increase my boost and my inlet temps are still nice and low as are my exhaust temps
seeing as diesel exhaust temps considerably lower then petrol temps would 20 psi be do able on the turbo?

hey guys i have just picked up a rb30e motor for my car installed it and had some issues with it using lots of fuel so i pulled out the injectors sent them off and the results were that the injectors installed were
199.5cc @3bar
high impedance
bosh black injectors
i was told they were possibley out of a el falcon
what is the reason for running these injectors in a rb30e is it to gain more power ?
or is it a dodgy someone has done before adding a turbo?
if i do add a turbo and chipped ecu are these injectors capable of making more power over the stock injectors

timing is 15c +2 advanced im using 98 octane fuel no ecu errors im going to replace the o2 sensor if that doesn't fix it maybe I got leaking injectors

as far as I know its hooked up correctly is there a way to test it ? would it cause that much drop in economy the way its hooked up is white -ecu black -ecu red- positive

hey guys I got a rb30 patrol with 33inch tyres I have converted it to efi and im having economy issues
im only getting 120khm to 40ltrs of fuel its got a new afm and new air filter its running nicely any ideas why its using so much I was getting 550 -600 out of it when it was carby

i think i may have found my issue i stripped my wiring loom down everything looked good so i decided to test my afms one last time this is the result i got
done with ignition on
old one
pins 2-4 1.78v constant
pins 4-3 1.1-1.8 jumping all over the place
pins 1-6 dead on 3.55v
new one
pins 2-4 1.6-1.9 jumping all over the place
pins 4-3 1.0-4v jumping everywhere
pins 1.6 dead on 3.55v
this means either my wiring or arms are dead right ? is there any other day of checking my new afm incase the wiring is bad?
could a bad ecu give this type of reading

yeh it seems to work I've been over everything only thing I'm a bit curious about is when i put my multimeter on my cas black wire pin 1 and a orangish colour pin 3 i was getting 12v then sometimes 0 then 6 then 12 again seemed weird to me on the pin next to it it was constant 1.77v

only codes I'm getting is a/c speed sensor and the one saying everything is working good I've changed all intake gaskets and hoses changes iac and gaskets to try fix the issues no change new fuel pump and fpr i can hear the pump pressurise and there is pressure in the line if i take it off i have only used the stock efi loom earths on the manifold but surely that should be plenty there straight to the battery i have removed the fuel filter there was no change I'm going to buy a new dizzy with cas,o2 sensor,leads see how that goes afar that everything has been changed except the air valve thing on the manifold near the thermostat and the ecu

or my ecu is bad but its the cleanest ecu i have seen in a long time

I've gone though basically everything only thing i can think of if my new cas is dodgy and it keeps playing with my timing if the cas works that way on a rb30

do u know what the cas volts should be ?

i got 2 arms here both do the same thing one is brand new cost me 450 off ebay checked them with multimeters they check out fine

cheers guys just replaced most of the connectors recently ive wired 12v to the coil no difference have noticed its heaps worse if I have no ait filter on the end of my afm if I block the intake partially with my hand it comes good its doing my head in lol

even if u get it changed wont u need a mod plate to go from turbo to n/a if so u cant drive a plated engine mod on p plates without a exemption I learnt the hard way lol

thanks for the reply when I tap the throttle I get all the injectors pulse then if I close and do it again they pulse again any ideas why my coil is getting 10.8

injectors are getting good voltage my coil is getting 10.8v is that normal also should the injectors pulse with the key on when u tap the throttle

recently converted my patrol to efi and had nothing but issues
its stumbling when revving off idle and poping through the intake I have replaced
fuel pump walbro 255lph in tank
spark plugs and gapped to 1.1
dizzy cap
afm
tps
aac valve
fpr
coolant temp sensor
intake manifold gaskets
put a kit through the injectors and replaced all the seals
timing is set to 15c btdc +2
every now and then it comes good
if I block my return line it revs normal
sometimes it decides to run rich for no reason
any ideas guys

I was wondering if it had metal or ceramic turbine that's what I meant when I had it rebuilt 1 year ago from mtq I think it was they said it was a stock ball bearing unit I didn't ask or get much more detail then that I don't know much more then that sorry I planned to only keep the boost low but ive recently put the motor in my auto gu from the manual gq and would like the extra power from a bit more boost lol
