FYI to everybody. The issue was a faulty/noisy Knock sensor and the wiring loom for good measure

Thanks for the tip, but the throttle body was cleaned and reset twice. It made no difference to the symptoms Manus300GT

Hi Guys I'm new to this Forum having just joined last week. I have a 2003 Skyline 300GT that I purchased late December. The car was running fine but a few weeks ago it started to play up. Its no longer quick off the mark, responsive and smooth. It has sluggish acceleration/poor pickup, it surges, and lacks power. The symptoms are mild when the engine is cold but become quite obvious when running at normal temperature Fault codes indicated an issue with the Knock sensor, but replacing the sensor and cable did not fix the problem. The ECU was tried but the fault remained. Has anyone experience this issue or have an idea of what it may be. Thanks Manus300GT
