  1. Yes, looks like some people have shared the same path as me.

I went from a R33 sedan Gtt, to a r34 gtt to a r34 gt (wife still driving it) to a fairlane g220

Ive forgot everything about the nissans i used to drive.

Has anyone turned onto any steel bumper classics ???

  2. Wow, has it been that long.  I think I Last posted on here around 12 years ago.

  3. For anyone who has bought a car, has anybody dealt with national warranty company?

Which claims have gone through and which claims have been turned away

Recently i had my automatic shifter solenoids replaced but they didnt cover it

On the warranty side it states that Gearbox/Transmission internal lubricated parts are covered

but solenoids is an exclusion on its list, go figure

  5. yeah man i only had third party

ive had the car about 5 years and they wanted far too much for full insurance, its amasing how insurance companies can charge high premiums for a car over 13 years old now. It didnt make sence to me

Looks to me like we are forced to buy aussie made cars just so our insurance isnt as high, but the simple fact is that aussie made just just do not drive like the imported stuff !!

  6. Thats a good idea man but the trouble is i wil not have to time to do it all myself i work shift work and time off can be a drag...

im driving a 1988 toyota camry at the momet LOL

    OHHH the difference !!!!!

  7. I really dont agree with taking any skyline up to its limit, whats the point really??

if you really want to get the rush, jump off a plane or something, take it on the track

I remember not too long ago when i was doing just a little over 100k and came to a complete stop into a fence and a pile of rocks in just under 5 secs, the impact that had, i came out with sore shoulders, sore neck and brused all over

would not want to think of an impact at twice that speed, OUCH

  8. Yes I easliy could have been wrapped along a tree and infused into the fence so I am lucky in that sence.

I also understand that the car will never be the same again

The angle im looking at here is that for around the 5g mark I should be able to restore the car to around the original condition as opposed to having to spend 10-15g again

here are some shots of the car

  9. goday guys, its been a while since ive been on here and here is my story

Working shif work has its benefits but can be a pain in the ass as well

Its was 3am i was going to work, pitch black on the road, low visability, driving to the airport on the backstreets of craigieburn when out of no where jumps a kankaroo on the middle of the road

was going a little over 100k and came to a complete stop in about 5 seconds, into a fence and a pile of rocks. Car is totalled need a whole new front end

Dont know now if its time to move on from the skyline range or bite the bullet and repair it

didnt have full insurance so i have to fork out the money anyways

life can suck at times
