    I will put in an rb25/30 in my car later this year but I have never build something like this before, Only regular rb25.

    Should I buy a Rips builded bottom or buy a std rb30 and build it myself? My plan was to buy the forged bottom from rips and then do all the other by myself.   2. then why does it matter if they are aus cars? they look exactly the same in japan..

    Where did I say I want to see aus cars? I said that I have only seen this two cars and I want to see more cars with this on. I have never seen a car from outside of japan with cross factory fenders wich meens it should be rare jdm stuff =)

  3. Hi Guys!

    I wonder if anyone know how much KW an unported rb25det head can handle on an rb30? Is it worth fitting Tomei Poncams and harder valvesprings on an unported head?

    If the bottom is forged, balanced and has a nitto or Tomei oilpump with the longer crank collar would it be safe to rev 8000-8500 with the std hydraulic lifters?

    I also wonder if it´s worth keeping the NVCS when build an rb30 or is it better to not use it, As the rb30/25 has enough torque at low rpms?

    I will use Ethanol as fuel if it matters.

    At the moment I have an rb25 head and a rb25 block without internals. My plan was to build it up with rb26 crank and forged rods and forged pistons.

    But I look more and more at rb30e bottoms. Is it a better choice to build an rb30 with forged internals and the rb25det head then to build a rb25det with 26 internals?

    Is it possible with 8000-8500rpm with a rb30 with forged internals?

    I will build for about 450Rwkw or 600rwhp.
