I've been told to replace the throw out bearing in my rb20det box, does anyone know if the rb25det bearing from r33 will fit? cause i've heard the one on r34 rb25 and rb26 they are different type of bearing.

selling a gt3540 turbo with ported 1.06 rear garret housing, off my friend ba xr6 which has 40k on the clock, not ball bearing just journal bearing has made 241kw on my rb20 at 14psi, heaps of lag lol it starts to make boost at 4k and all the way to redline, suits rb25/30 better. $550 ono

Selling a silver R32 GTST 1992 5sp manual, good for track/drift or weekend, rego ran out about 2 weeks ago
The car got gtr body kit including genuine gtr spoiler, front mount intercooler, nismo 260kp speedo, rb25 turbo, new HD clutch, gtr door trims… starts and drives no problems, goes hard when hits boost & sideway in any gear
BAD:
RHS needs to repaint, undercoat finished (quote $700)
Need clutch throw out bearing replaced (cost $30 DIY)
Diff knocking noise when reversing (been offered a good condition diff for $100)
Bit of oil leaking from rocker covers

180sx ca18det manual unfinished project
Imported engine with 5sp gear box has been told 60k miles.
Full body kit, s14 turbo, after market exhaust, 17" wheels, performance coil spark, leather seats, GAB shock, new brake pads and much more…
Car has been sitting around for 2 years and some interior/exterior bits tripped out but i have all parts.
Car has SA defected on it so selling as is for parts, track/drift.

Pretty sure it will need to be inspected by TransportSA.
I put a RB25DET into my ex-RB20DET R32 and it had to go over the pits with an emmisions certificate and R33 brakes.
well that's 500cc increased capacity ?
anyways im gonna give them a ring tomorrow and will let you guys know!

Just for stock RB26 I believe you can use r33 gtst brakes, but I wouldn't plan on power upgrades as people with RB25's put brembo's on
You only need to fill in change of engine form and on that form is asks you if you changed the brakes, rego is no different from 6cyl to 6cyl turbo
good info, what about that 100cc increase does it require a mod plate? and yes it's a stock engine with rebuilt N1 turbos 240rwkw, it looks pretty standard though dont think the cops will pick on it

hi buddy im planning to buy a r33 gts with blown engine, just wondering if i could drop in an rb26 without a mod plate as i've heard in South Australia you only have to fill out the form to change your engine number. Also do i have to register the car as turbo (i hope not)? for the brake upgrades can i go for gtst ones? or have to be brembos as stock r33 gtr?
Another option is to rebuild the engine as i've had the turbo kit with came with the car, i'm a bit confusing about turbo return oil/water as NA block doesnt seem to have them?
