Im trying to track down the following globe holder.
Looks like this
its a R33 GTR front indicator part but i can not find a listing anywhere for it.

I don't think anyone on here knows how to do a solid lifter conversion on a rb25. When you find out let me know. when I find out I will do the same.

Sounds like the head is going to be over-spec'd for the turbo really. As already said porting and big cams are only really needed for big power, and thats not really the 3582. It's going to make the already average response of the turbo worse on the 2.5.
Sure big cams can sound good, and it's awesome to tell your mates you've got a mad port job too, but seriously it's a waste of money.
If it was me id be spending the cash on a twin scroll setup, which will actually make the car nicer to drive.
im running a gt35r i don't think that the cams or the head work is over the top.

Quick question regarding the retainers supplied with the type 'b' valve springs, why is there only 12?
I have the 270, 9.25mm lift procams and the type 'b' valve springs, solid lifters.
We are looking at about 100thou shims but cant figure out why the kit only supplies the 12 retainers, any guidance appreciated

that is a big lift, are you going to change valve springs too?

so i have this clutch as well but its now shagged, looking at getting it rebuilt but cant find a rebuild kit number.
any thoughts on a compatable current OS offering.

not strictly a wrx question but does anyone have any data or knowledge on how long forged pistons last?
Im about to strip down the RB25 and the aris pistons have done about 60,000 km.
Thoughts and advice?

On the drivers side to the upper left of the footrest pedal you will notice a little mechanical box with a plug going into it (has a little cog/gear on it and you can manually turn it with your fingers).
This opens and closes the vents when you switch it. It's that thing.
yep i got that and sun sensor. damn car.
anyone got ball park figures for these items?

I don't have any reciepts but the car was imported stock standard from autoworx and every aftermarket part was installed brand new (coilovers, exhuast, rims, fmic etc etc)
i guess theres no way i can prove how old they are - il book it into wa suspensions and see what they say
welcome to Tein suspension, get them out, fix the broken 1 and sell them. I would recommend something like HSD.
