TBH reading wat ive said it's pretty fckd up.. when i started the thread it was about stoner which i was thinkin would b a good discussionthen sadly simoncelli died about 2 mins l8r.... Now thnking I'll start a new thread in a couple days about stoner... because he does deserve our congratulations but I kno simoncelli's family n frinds wont see this but im sure all of our thoughts go out to them it was a fked up situation

And yeh RIP Simoncelli he may have been a bit untactful when it came to racing but like i said before at least he made it exciting.. u never knew what would happen when he was racing.. such a loss RIP

fkk bro.. i guess thats wat happens when u love a car hey, ive been told not 2 buy a gt cause i can wait for 4 years n buy a peice of crap in the mean time... but i guess its all about lovin the car u have n enjoying it, then again that is a lot of money U got a recent pic of it? wat powers it got.. and u regret it?

Got to admit before joining this website actualy had hardly any respect for r33s.. but this thread n the pics of them, especially aberax has actually made me re-consider.. that is one nice looking clean r33 That rx-7 is fkin mint.. would like 2 kno how quick it is and wat u actually use it for (track drag or just show) And stang happy 2 see u realised that a black boot doesnt make a car look better on its own haha wat else u done to it ? And type.. ive already admitted i don't kno too much about cars but physically u done much to it like second pic looks darker but guessing uve worked on the engine mainly? made much difference in power? Come on guys I kno all of us make modifications 2 our cars mainly to make it more powerful n look better for our own reasons but we also do it because we want others 2 appreciate it so.. put ur cars on here tell us how much it costs ( so we know wat 2 do to ours) and also just 2 give alot of ppl ideas about wat 2 do 2 their cars and so we can admire some nice cars.. And tbh I'm a fair noob when it comes 2 cars and im sure a few others are so if u show wat uve done n explain wat its done n y... no1 will complain..

Yeh the bloke said it was all minor but I have to get brake pads and fix the radius bush, dust boots and tie rods don't i? Tbh ive got no idea wat tie rods are anyway lol..? So all up roughly how much do u think it might all take to fix? And what would u pay for the car.. 130k on it.. Gotta buy new tyres ( buying mags anyway) and about $800 painting i have to spend on it Cheers mate

Doesnt matter anyway I wont be attracting any attention from cops or thieves after I'm finished with it anyway: just paint it light metallic green, 20 inch chromies, white tribal vinyl on the sides and some white racing stipes But seriously I've had it RAA checked and it's come up with a few things, was wondering if you guys could help me out by telling me how much these things will cost remembering I'll have to pay for labour.. Also any ideas where to get the best prices.. I've looked it up and estimated what I think the prices will be Left front radius bush is leaking ($300) Front and Rear shock absorber dust boots are worn out ($240) Wear evident to left front tie rod joint. Also tie rod and ball joint and dust boots are worn out Oil leaks to either; rocker cover, cam seals, crank seals and head gasket Rear brake pads ($300) Front and rear disc rotors are glazed ($300) Drive belts Passnege window and passenger side mirror broken Cheers guys

I'm sure a lot of us would like to see the before and after pics of the changes we've done to our cars, and a lot of ppl would like to show them off . Maybe just show before and after pics.. What it's done.. And how much its cost

Thinking of gettin 19s 8.5 front 9.5 rear... I kno what ur sayin bro but 5 years of driving something that isnt entertaining at all, ive driven commies before but fk they're broing... n I'm only young once hey... I get that non-turbo skylines r almost pointless but i guess i'm mainly thinking of gettin one for the look until i can get a GTR, easily the sexciest car out there... Are they really that gutless?

Taken it all into account and realised that I honestly want a skyline.. I'm not going to be able to get much power out of any non-turbo/non-v8/non-supercharged car anyway.. I understand what ur all saying but thinking that i may aswell get the car i love the look of since I'm not going to get much power from any car anyway.. U seriously think the insurance will be that much? Some suggestions on insurance companies to go with just so I dont miss out on ringing some1 that will give me a good deal? Don't really have the money to have a track car and a daily.. I kno wat ur gettin at but tbh probably not a reality even tho I'd love it, I still want to drive around in somethin I'd enjoy anyway.. And when it comes to an mx5 my mate used to have 1 a few years back. Theyre so frigging small, and do u really think chicks love them or do chicks love driving them lol? And I did look up commies before i stumbled upon this car and theyre mainly all in auto so.. sick of driving boring cars I've done it all my driving life. I kno that if i buy some nice mags ill b able to fit it onto the GTR when i buy it but I'm mainly wondering if i buy an exhuast or any other mod such as intake fuel pump will that fit on the GTR or is it all going to be a waste of money? Like i said im a noob when it comes to cars so if theres any suggestions on what way to modify a GT so that they could be put on a GTR when bought and not a complete waste of money it'd b appreciated?

I know exactly what you're all saying because I've always wondered is it really a skyline if it's not turbo... However I've always wanted a R34 GTR but I obviously can't drive one for another 4-5 years. I love the look of the R34 and since it is only really 10k isn't it worth it? I'd be paying more for an outdated model commodore. I get what you're saying about the silvia but IMO they dont really compare to a R34, whats the difference in power? I've accepted the fact that most cars I'm going to buy are not going to have a ridiculous amount of power and I'll always be wishing it was a turbo and I've got 4-5 years of this so really I'm not going to have a powerful car for a long time anyway. And I've driven the cheap cars all my life so just want something I can take care of if you kno what I mean? Would most of the parts I buy for it fit a GTR anyway? I don't really know heaps about cars which is why I think having something that I'm going to be taking care of and slightly modifying will be good so I can learn as I go.. Is the makeup of the GT and GTR fairly similar?

Gday guys, Just joined this site, been following it for a while... finally got my license back so can only get a GT unfortunately.. Wondering wat u think of me payin 10k for a GT manual? Its got a couple of physical problems with it ( paint spots from being egged) but apart from that nothin 2 serious... considering i cant get a turbo. Gettin an RAA check 2day so if it comes up all good do u think its worth 10k? 135000km btw I can put pics up of it, plus what i plan 2 do 2 do 2 it But yeh any suggestions, whether its not worth wasting my money on it or how much it'll cost to make it look good/ perform happy to hear any advice.. tbh no idea about the mechanics of cars just love my skylines n always have Remember I'll unfortunately b on my Ps for another 4/5 years so was thinking maybe keep this car fall in love with it and when I'm able to put a turbo on it, if its worth it?.. any advice would be appreciated Cheers fellas.
