im not really into doing drifts, races, burnouts on public roads, thats what my mates bushbasher is for..
as stated in above post.
-
as the person above changed your post to say, so you are saying that you want plenty of police attention? and by the sounds of it getting a natro import will make you stand out pretty well,
also having a car that is different to everything else in town makes it very easy for the police to identify you if someone reports a car like yours doing burnouts or racing around town.
cops cant really get me for anything if i've got nothing illegal on my car..
and im not really into doing drifts, races, burnouts on public roads, thats what im mates bushbasher is for...
good thing you don't care what people think of you.
cheers for that
Get a 2 litre non turbo imprezza, my mate has one, great on fuel , good handling and goes really well, appearance of it isnt gay like a excel and isnt as good as a GTR but hey its pretty good imo !
apprently they're worse on fuel then skylines/silvia's, so i;ve been told..

Yes encourage him to get a 4cyl car!!!
I live in brisbane and go to the gold coast regulary and I always see more falcodores than imports... your comment is pretty silly man there is always going to be more locally made cars on the road compared to imports....
exactly what i mean, i dont wanna be like ever other man and his dog, i like to stand out.

open your eyes...now count haw many skylines you see everyday
not that many really. not in my town anyways.
-
what about a lancer then with a 1.8 in it?
-
natro?
i dont want a front wheel drive.
what sortof fuel figures are we talking here?
dads falcon ute gets about 10L/100ks
skylines?
silvias?
2.0 imprezza's?
(says on car sales 9-10 L's around town then 7/100 on the highways.)

thanks for a reply guys,
not really wanting a falcon or an comadore, cause their boring and every one has em.
i'll give a go at doing all the work i can my self. or ill get mechanic mates to help me out.
i know this is a skyline site, but are the imprezza's any good?
cheers boys and girls.

yea, but for a p plater i have to have a non turbo version.

hi,
im pretty new to street cars, but having a job an 1hour 1/2 away from town i need a car thats,
good on fuel,
reliable,
fun to drive,
and relitively safe
skyline's and silvia's seem to fit the bill.
its mainly going to be used for going to work and back and around town, not racing/drifting or any of that.
i was just wondering if a non-turbo skyline or no-turbo silvia would be up to the task of getting me to work each day and back?
i;ve read they're pretty good on fuel if not to much right foot is used,
are they reliable?
easy to fix?
are parts cheap or dear?
what about insurace costs for a P-plater?
anything i should be on the look out for when looking at one?
anyways thats all my questions for now,
cheers for any help.
