  1. hi all i have noticed on my r33 gtr the left front wheel sits in about 5-10mm more than the driver's side. is this normal for the GTR or not? the car hasnt been crashed nothing seems bent and both have equal camber, just setting it up for the track at the moment and i want the car to handle well and wondering if this will effect it or if its normal. cheers.

  2. Hi all, not sure if im posting in the correct place, but i have an r33 gtr. i dont drive it very often but when i do the car feels very weird in the rear, unstable and seems to feel as though the rear is "walking out". the hicas seems to be working fine subframe bushes "appear" to be fine also tie rod ends etc are fine. iv'e tried a few wheel alignment settings, currently 1mm toe in rear 1mm toe out front. im runnning mines esca street coilovers and thats all as far as suspension items go. it doesnt feel normal at all, iv'e driven other cars with hicas before and owned an r33 gtst for 5 years previously, neither felt like this car. Anybody else had this problem? fixes? etc. cheers

  3. hi all I recently purchased an r33 gtr to find it had gt2860 bb turbo's. I have noticed that almost everytime I drive it, at least once it will puff out a big ploom of blue out the exhaust on deacceleration, (I stop at an intersection just after hitting boost and I can see the smoke). now the turbos look to be almost new and is the only modification to vehicle (and exhaust). now question is do you need to fit oil restrictors to the feed lines when fitting ball bearing turbo's. I havnt yet inspected lines on vehicle yet, just thought id ask first as some said you don't have to when I done some research. engine seems to be in good shape with good compression.

  4. hi all just sold my modified r33 gtst in favour of an r33 gtr, after purchasing the vehicle as "stock" and after driving it thinking it felt quiet laggy for std I took a look at the turbo chargers to find they are gt2860's, unsure what "dash" they are. Anyway the rest of car is standard including ecu, I know an aftermarket unit would bring great gains for power and probably fuel econ etc, but as im wanting to keep it pretty std for now im not interested in tuning and stuff at this stage, so just wondering if anyone else has simular set up with std ecu and will it be okay and not detonate and all that. it runs 10 psi and appears to run quiet rich.
