  1. That's what I'm wondering, it's always done it while I've had it. Before the full MV Autos bits and bobs and a much smaller turbo it did it.
Now with the faster changes the box gives and the bigger power it can do the slight twitch. Not sure how the stock diff work. I believe it's a viscous diff not sure never got into the ins and out of a diff.

  2. Is there a reason why the rear passenger wheel bearing fails. Only can find posts that quote rear passenger bearing problems over and over here and else where.

I replaced both rears with new OEM Nissan ones just over 12 months since. But it was the rear passenger one that failed on a hub dyno 1st. Now it's gone again pretty bad. Is there a reason why it's that one?

The motor I'm on about is the daily work one I use out off the 3 stagea I have.

    It's a S2 RS4V triptronic 500hp+ at the hubs I'm talking about.

The car has always pulled/twitched to the left @ tops/ high RPM gear change up (even @ 330hp ) . Is it experienced by other S2 Triptronic cars this slight power twitch on top end gear changes up ?

    Cheers Lee

What guards are they at the back?

I did them myself, modified R34GTR rear fenders

The Stagea has been on the back burner this year. But I've 3 stagea at the moment in total. This one is my daily work bus and now running too much power for the uk roads Lol.
The power is staying where it's at, end off. The body I'm not 100% happy with, but it's on a total strip out and put the way I want.
Colour is a big mix in my head. But my idea is on the Nissan X-trail nightshade ?
    Picture is Nissan KH3 posted
At the moment it Nissan GN0 which I love!!!

It's the last paint job I will do on my daily, what the ideas you have guys and girls( nightshade colour ) ?

Update on the iPhone app here in the UK kicked me out for near 2 weeks Admin ? ( no log in )

  4. Lol car nice eyes...
There's room it's not in a R35 shell it a caged chassis space frame. The body is much smaller in it normal stock form. Near 10" has been put in length and 5" track width to mount the R35 running gear. A little like Hennessy did with the lotus to a venom lol.
The single turbo is a idea, just putting it out there if it been done for results over the twin setups.

  5. Yep Mike at MV autos in adelaide sell upgraded ones..stock ones are piss weak.

And no you cant use the yella terra flexplate, i have one in my vl turbo,

the Re stagea box and the vl style jatco flexplate are different, i know this as i had to change

my r31 skyline Re box flexplate to a vl flexplate when i fitted a powerglide to my r31 10 yrs ago

    cheers

    darren

Spoken and made a order with Mike @ MV last week.

For some reason I haven't seen over the years reading that the piss poor flexplate was a problem. 342awkw it let on the dyno around 5200rpm. The red hot metal firework display looked good mind coming from under the passenger side.

  6. Now is the time for a manual box - unless there was a reason you wanted to hang on to the auto!

Otherwise check this out to see if it will fit your car:

I like the Triptronic box it's my daily work bus and the simple easy drive style I like. I have a 2002 RS260 6 speed with less than 12k on the clock if I like to get the need for a manual drive out.

  7. My flexplate let go today on the dyno. Looking at it close up it looks a little Mickey Mouse and not up to the job.

Any uprated more heavy duty flexplate's out there ?

Any pointed direction would be most welcome

    Cheers Lee

Got a pair from Japan to the uk and it was near the same price for 1 side as it was for the pair.

Plus the new pair where a near on black in colour the old ones where more of a brown look.
