  1. It depends which site you use....

Let me know what you are after and I can give you a combined price.

    :)

I got a packet from Supercheap Auto (go into an auto parts store and have a look).

Buy series 3 R33 xenon headlights. They usually come with ballasts and bulbs, but you can buy aftermarket ballasts and bulbs. You're looking at $1k+ for the complete setup.

Ok thankyou for the tips. Ill try those globes im not looking to bust the bank.

  3. Best = replace headlights with factory xenon, or perform HID conversion.

If you're just after bulbs, use Narva Blue Plus 90. I found them to be pretty good, the rest of the blue bulbs are rubbish.

I dont see the blue plus 90 in H1. Just this plus 100. It doesnt say anything about blue, neither do the others i looked at.

I cant say ive done any research into globes except what ive read on these forums. How do i replace with factory xenon?

  4. I have a S1 R33 GTST and the headlights are absolutely shocking. Should i just upgrade the globes? And does anyone have any suggestions as to what a good one would be?

Is something like this going to be good? http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/online-store/products/Philips-Headlight-Globes-Power-Vision-H1-55W.aspx?pid=358203&menuFrom=40101#@cross

Or is it worth spending the extra on this? http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/online-store/products/Philips-Headlight-Globes-White-Vision-H1-55W.aspx?pid=358323&menuFrom=40101#@cross

  5. yeah nah, still having issues with this. Its not just over 2500 its at any stage, it can drive normally sometimes but most of the time it feels like its getting choked, like only half the petrol is getting through or something. Checked maf sensor and plug and it was dry as can be. My only potion now is to take it somewhere to get it looked at, would anyone know of any mechanics open today? Most of the ones i know are gone for a week or 2 now.

  6. S1 R33 Gtst, pretty stock, intercooler, exhaust. never had a problem in 2 years.

Christmas day took my car for a clean, gave a quick spray under the bonnet to get rid of some dust, drove it home car working fine.

Got in car boxing day to go to work noticed it was idling rough when i started it, took it for a drive around the block and anything over about 2500,3000 rpms its shuddering pretty badly. Bov still sounds normal when changing gears but absolutely no power at all. Not sure if it could be related to spraying the water under the bonnet? It sounds like it is misfiring or a piston has stopped working, i wouldnt really know, maybe its something simple, but im not sure what to do about it. And ideas, or mechanics that will be open today S.e Melbourne chelsea, braeside area?

  7. White stagea with SAU VIC sticker at 7:45pm friday. Parked on road in ferntree gully

Also a red r33 with roll cage and Motul decal + other decals on the side. Looked like a d1 drift car?

Saw the motul 33 on station st turning up edithvale rd that day.

  8. Compared to what mine looked like 3 weeks ago they look magnificent. I think the fact the plastic is 20 years old and has some wear and tear will stop them looking brand new but i think glassylite worked fine. Maybe an extra 10 mins sanding per side or as the op suggested using 4 grades of sandpaper would probably help that extra bit. If you have any sealant left over maybe give it another crack with the sanding.
