  3. Oh ok then, i will have a chat to Mark from godzilla tomorrow see what he thinks i guess. I just thought cams where the way to go but maybe not yet. As for the box, im trying to be gentle lol :) oh and if i do go happen to go cams what are the largest cams specs i can go without head modifications??? I was gonna buy some trust cams 272 9.15 lift

  4. Hey guys i have r32 gtr currently making 456hp @ all four wheels on 18psi, im thinking about upgrading the cams and also cam gears. My question is, should i maybe try another tune with a little more boost say 21-22psi and see what power i make or should i wait do the cams and gears maybe run a little more boost??? Currently im happy with the turbo response, below is my cars current setup. Oh yeah my goal is 500 at all fours :)

  5. man rip the whole system out from the front of the car

    block off the 2nd banjo on the p/s pump, and block off the line from the p/s reservior then yeah, rip everything out

    when your done your car will be like 50kg lighter :P

    Ok really 50kgs?? I have already got the hicas lock bar in place its just basically the 2x lines that are giving me problem. So ur saying trace them back and block them off??

  6. Hey guys i have recently purchased my second r32 gtr which i have noticed has a Hicas lock bar. I noticed the other day on my driveway that i had a small oil leak which seemed to be coming from the rear of the car, so i jumped underneath and found the two power steering lines which usually feed the Hicas system are leaking. They are used what it looks to be 2x Banjo fittings to block them off, so i was wondering should i try resealing them with the current setup or should i try something different? My first plan was to get braided oil line with the correct fittings at each end made up and just continuesly run the fluid rather than try blocking them off. Second thought was to trace lines back to pump and block off at either pump or as far back as possible. Has anyone done something similar or could possibly shed some light on situation.

  7. Hey guys i have got an r32 gtr and i recieved my new leather boots for my handbrake and also my gear boot. Firstly the stupid black rubber band broke which im just going to replace with a zip tie i think if anyone has a better idea than please share but the main issue is the small black surround keeps poping out when i change gears generally when im changing to second or fourth. I had a look at the clips they seem in all good condition but it seems to just pull out of the two clips closest to the stereo, so im wondering if anyone has had this issue and may have overcome this annoying issue?? Any help would be great.

Hey guys i have been apart of this forum for about 5yrs now and in my time i have had an r33 gtst and also an r32 gtr both great cars, i sold my my most recent car the r32 gtr about 4yrs ago for 25k and it was honestly the r32 gtr i have scene it was perfect inside and out. Now come 4yrs later i have bought my house and im wanting another gtr and i cant find one. I really want a R32 gtr with a built motor and low mount turbo options 2530's etc. I have always kept an eye on the market and recently as about 2 months ago noticed really good examples going within my budget. Now i have got the money ready to go but i just cant find anything that fits my description. My budget is 27k on the road, judging by past car sales in the last 3 months i thought it was fair but all i can find on this forum is ones going for late 30's and im just ready to give up. Am i wrong with my budget or are people asking for too much money for their cars. I just really want i nice clean mildy modified R32 GTR and i cant get one its a sad day. Sorry to ramble i just wanted to have my say. Sorry if this is in the wrong section please just move. I just need a little advice.

  9. Yeah i guess your right i think i will tell him to pay for it, its his car after all and plus i have already paid for the first one. As for why would the shop lie, they wouldnt as far as i am concerned.

  10. Hey guys,

    Im in need of some help, im actually from brisbane and im in the market for a GTR and i have found one that i really want. Basically i got it inspected with the usual compression and leak down tests completed etc and it failed how ever the owner of the car feels that the inspection is not accurate and is happy for another inspection. He does not mind where the car is taken he just believes that it deserves another inspection, as it has already cost me $250.00 for the first inspection im really hoping that this next inspection is more accurate. So what im asking is if anyone feels that they are mechanically capable or knows of anyone that is onto it when it comes to GTR's than i would appreciate your help im willing to pay what ever is required to get this car checked out im really desperate as im on the other side of australia.
