Looks good Rossco,
I noticed you got the back plates to fit, nice!
Go the 32s !
-
Thanks Rezz, that has satisfied my curiosity.
I appreciate your effort to find this info.
If I learn japanese I might call him...
Lincoln.

yep. absolute shocker, but only pic i have before sticker came off.
-
Does anyone know of garage yoshihaya or similar?
There is a sticker on the back of my GTR (see pic)
and i'm hoping to find out if they know about my car
and what mods etc have been done.
Thanks,
Lincoln.
-
thats not mine, its been here a few months.
mods are apexi pods, exhaust, recaros.

they dont move much, but enough to get the plate to fit.
just undo the screws, push the light firmly to the side and retighten whilst holding the light. it took a few goes to work out how the screws moved over. trial and error.
goodluck!

hey rossco your thread was in page 2 of skyline and other vehicles etc.
i have w.a slimline aluminium plates 372mm wide that fit perfectly.
i just adjusted the reverse lights as far to the sides as possible. my plate squashed in tight but does sit flat (see pics)
the screw holes were lined up very close too.
let me know how you go.

Hey Rossco, they will fit but its a tight squeeze. I have the W.A slimlines that are 372mm wide (should be same as yours) and all i did was adjust the reverse lights a few mm and then it fitted in. Not 100% sure about polycarbonate as mine are aluminium.
The screw holes from the big jap plate matched up very close too.
Good luck.

Nice score Flight! Choosing colours for resprays is awesome fun..
BlueR32GTR: was that yours i saw in Leederville on newcastle St? Recaro seats...gauges on passenger dash etc? scratch along the bonnet
Yep thats mine. Getting some work done at a mates garage before registering it. Some TLC and it'll be sweet.
I guess this is a spotted entry now hey!!

Yeah good point , prayers for the repairs and rego over the pits.
Let us know how you get on. I'm sure there are others in the same boat.
Thanks again for all the info....
-
Sorry man, my prayers are with you!!!!!
What about the side intrusion bars? Surely these are a must.
Your car will be just fine....
Prayers....

Thanks Flite, I bought my car in Feb 2004 and also got the letter for exemption. What did you have to change, i've heard 50 different theories.
I've just got my GTR, so this is excellent info.

Can you please explain the $291 compliancing? and where you had it done.
Thanks,
Lincoln.

To J_R32
I parked at officeworks on queen victoria steet and walked across the road and up the path about 50 metres.
Take some binoculars or a camera with a good zoom.
Enjoy!
