  1. you'll never cut and polish the marks out by hand best way

buy/borrow a cheap buffer there like $50 and always come in hand at some point..

buy a g-mop buffing pad buy them from most paint supply shops

and a bottle of 3m cutting compound

use 1200 wet to knock the top off any bad bits in the paint then use 2000 by hand wet just to take the harsh scratches from the 1200 out then hit it with the buff and pad makes the job super quick i use this every day of the week never fails

    good luck

  2. cars been going awesome locked diff is in power cruise is entered and can't wait 25th 26th of jan will be the best weekend for this car had a play with my new gopro and suction caps suck keeps going loose and falls down and if got as hero 3 black and after i got home to watch some of the footage it was shit sound was terrible and video was not the best after doing bit more reading i trend the hd down to 720p see how that works anyone else used one and know what settings are best for outside of a car?

  3. its not to bad being that there about 3mm gap between guard and tyre in the back I'm running 2 degrees in the back and 3 in the front the back has been lipped only and the front has been lipped and the top rail that always cuts the centre of the tyre in the front I've rolled over flat so it won't cut and also acts as a cover for the wiring loom

  4. well spent the weekend driving the laurel around regoed and tuned for the first time and had the best time went out with a few friends for a drive friday night car went great beside speedo randomly stopping later find out the cable snapped just after the sender that sucked done few foot on coz straya!!! bit sad on the diff cutting one some times but a locked diff will be going in asap ready for power cruise also had to put a 10mm exstended clutch slave pin in as the clutch wasn't engagging all the way solved that so from now and power cruise actually have to learn to skid the car this will be fun

  5. Dont just weld the screamer up, if you hit gate you will create all sorts of dramas as the gas will be pushed backward. This could damage the wastegate / turbo.

Get someone to extend it and put two flanges on it, so that it can be recirculated into the dump pipe, and removed. Cost you maybe $100

Oh no no I wasn't thinking of welding it up and if I did block it up I wouldn't even think about going any where near boost like just have it like that to drive to the inspection and drive home but I have a guy that is good with fab so I'll speak to him about plumbing it back in to the exhaust and make it so I can switch between plumb back and. Straight out

  6. Tint that's too dark, a screamer, and 'not too low' but is 100mm.... Which is about the depth that the open class WTAC Winnig gtr runs at....

It's usually the easy to change and obvious things that can't be ignored that are hardest... Like dark tint and low. Surely you get the point after a 'few' different places say the same thing. you're asking someone to risk their operating license.

Sorry what I ment was window tint that is still legal and it is well over 100mm from the lowest point of the car (as apparently that's the rule?) and if I do lift it up change the wheels pull all the adjustable arms out source stock ones and do 100other things there still no doubt going to fail me on the screamer that are things that are a lot harder to change when I'm sure there's someone out there that would sign the car off as it is..

  7. ok so i hate to do this but I'm starting to get desperate.. i have a car that needs pit passing as it come from the nsw I've taken it to a few different places and they have all said the same to low window tint to dark i need some one that is easy going on rego inspection the car is in very good condition inside and out has few things that i worry about has adjustable arms from and rear screamer pipe its low but not over the top would be 100mm from lowest point car looks very sleeper from out side I'm willing to travel to get inspections so please help a mate out I'm sure someone out there knows of some one that would do them
