I am not at all sure where to post this as I'm new here but my friend has an R32 Skyline and the climate control has decided to play up, first off it had really warm air which is fine because its getting to winter, turned it down the other day as the day was rather warm and when it was turned back up it remained cold.
Tried turning it on and off, both the unit and the car, ran the diagnostics on it as follows:
Sensor recognition check
Press the HOT switch again and a "5" will be indicated in the display section. If you press the
"AMB" button (R32) or the windscreen defroster button (R33) in this status, the display will
show the temperature sensed by each sensor. This will give you an indication also of which (if
any) are faulty.
Temperatures will be displayed in the following order (R32):
5 -> Outside air temp -> Inside air temp -> Suction temp -> Refrigerant temp
R33 seems to have a different selection, with three temperatures being displayed.
Came up with a problem for the suction temp, now can anyone tell me a mere simpleton what this temp is for and where the hell is the sensor located to replace it? Would be a big help!!!
