firstly, you cannot have the feature whereby the doors unlock when the engine dies secondly, you need a bypass chip that allows u to look your car and immobilise after the engine dies. the chip cost me 38 bucks to add on to my pre-existing alarm. send it to the shop that fitted your alarm and if the seem incompetent, send to another agent that does the same type of alarms hope that helps
