  1. White Evolution VIII GSR JDM 2003

    *** This car is not in perfect condition ***

    *** Would make an excellent road registered track weapon ***

    *** 2012 EvoultionOz Nationals Winning Car - In Restricted Modified ***

    *** $23,500 ono - Strictly NO lowerballers ***

    Details/Modifications :
    * Full turbo back 3inch exhaust system (including a 3 inch cat).
    * Grimmspeed boost control solenoid.
    * Tuned by Powertune, dyno read at 207awkw
    * Lower interncooler pipe upgraded.
    * Full KW Clubspec coilovers (these are the grade up from V3 and are competition 3 way suspension).
    * Car is on stock rims (worn KU36'ers) and comes with a set of Evo VII rims with one track day old Federal RSR's (never used on street).
    * It was the 7th Evo I looked at, it had no rust and no signs of any damage, IMG import car (I'm the second owner in Australia)

    The car clocked a 1.09.xxx at the 2012 EvoNationals in this spec, BUT with Buddyclub Suspension, the Kw's first and only time out clocked a 1.08.787 (NatSoft) time. So, yes, this car is an excellent option for a track car.

    Attention Needed :
    I'm happy to drive the car without issues, actually, I'd be happy to track it as is with the usual maintenance needed prior to a track day... BUT :
    * The front brakes need to be rebuilt.
    * The paint on close close inspection isn't good - It's had a possum or dog get ontop of it. It's been polished out but the rubbers and seals are still scratched badly.
    * As above, the tyres on the factory Evo VIII rims need replacing (but the new RSR's on Evo VII rims come with the car).
    * Carpet is worn on the drivers side. Floor mats have been removed.
    * Drivers seat needs repair/replacing
    * Front lip is factory, but temporary, and the front under tray is gone.

    Contact by PM Only at this stage, A phone number will be provided soon.

    NOTE : I hate selling cars, anyone who wishes to look and expect to test drive the car, I will kindly ask them to send me a copy of their drivers licence via phone MMS. Gives me security of being able to track someone down if they crash it (no offence).

    Photos are prior to a cut and polish and represents the cars general condition.

    Thanks

  2. The way I understood the rule was the yellow plate is a personal import plate.

    Which how I read it was, the car didn't have to comply to the general ADR's AT THE TIME OF COMPLIANCE. I think you need the compliance paperwork, listing all modifications for it to get you off a defect.

    If it was complied as a stock GTS4, then you might have some work to do to clear it.

    I'm not 100% sure however...

  3. The little white "EVO" will be there, I look forward to renewing the battle with the two big bad R34's (or one it appears... :(..)...

    I also have improved the car from dead stock last time out at Wakefield... Althou, I'm concerned about the R34's outright straight line speed and the main straight of Eastern Creek... tehehehehe...

    Bring it on Skyline Boys... Looking forward to it.

  4. lucky i went out in the last sesion to post that time or you would have got me, i had some great chases with a white emo and a silver series 3 rx7 on the track and with your 33 for times, you where only just behind me with times all day

    Its not little, and it has feelings!!!!!!!!!

  5. thankyou for your concern birds even thou you dont know me. im well aware of the risks but in the end its not my problem...the thread is about me getting a car and im happy and if you have nothing nice to say i suggest you hit the reset button on your pc.

    Hello - Well Done on the new Car.

    I'm interested, in how it may not be your problem ? You do realize that if you hit an expensive car, or even worse.... hit a person your liable for all costs ? And your insurance company won't help you.

    Might wanna think about that. Do you really want to take a chance that could ruin your entire life. Considering a court could order you pay 10's if not 100's of thousands of dollars.

    You don't just to walk away and say "its not my problem"
